That which is called "earth," this is not an utterly distinct entity from emptiness and so forth. However, it itself exists in the ultimate truth, and due to the power of beginningless ignorance, it appears as the nature of forms and so forth. When ignorance is absent, and one sees with one's own nature, even though ignorance has vanished, how do things that do not exist, such as forms, appear? Thus it is said. Even so, through the summary of meaning, it is taught to realize in various ways, as it is said: Form is held as other, in what way is it emptiness? Why does non-existence appear? This is the illusion of ignorance. The appearance of non-existence is due to power, this is called ignorance. Thus it is said. Previously, the digression into the extreme of otherness has been prevented, but it has also been prevented in other situations. If this is the non-apprehension of phenomena, then with what wisdom is it realized, or not realized? If it is realized, then wisdom will become truly existent, and fall into the nature of grasper and grasped. If it is not realized, then how can the Bhagavan, the perfectly complete Buddha, be spoken of in such a way, with the perfection of realizing all transcendent phenomena? Phenomena also will not be able to be known individually by themselves. The Prajnaparamita will also become extremely non-existent like a rabbit's horn, so it is said, thinking in this way. All phenomena are the equality of complete destruction, thus it is said. That which is the complete destruction of all phenomena, this is non-apprehension. Its equality is also in the wisdom of grasping. The meaning is this: when, in the stage of the path, wisdom focuses on the emptiness of all phenomena, at that time, it also focuses on the emptiness of itself, and in the state of manifestation, it also obtains the nature of emptiness itself, otherwise, it is not said to have realized the emptiness of all phenomena. Therefore, with equality, that wisdom which abides in the nature of the object to be focused on and the subject that focuses is spoken of. Therefore it is said: Transcending the nature of discriminating consciousness, holding the nature of non-dual wisdom, spontaneously accomplished without discrimination, is the activity of the Buddhas of the three times. Thus it is said. This is also reasonable, the intention is that very

Thus it is said. The venerable master Chandrakirti said: "When there is no birth or death, then wisdom is also free from birth and death. At that time, such practitioners also approach that aspect." Thus it is said. That emptiness of wisdom and its oneness, or non-existence, what is the use? Or how to obtain its nature? How to know it? No. Thus it is said, "All dharmas are without action." Here, action is activity, and without it, there is no action. If there is no activity, then emptiness is the nature of things, and it has truly transcended, and there is no small amount of things. The wisdom that can grasp also obtains its nature, but this transcendental wisdom, the so-called self-realized dharma, is like magic, why should it be refuted by the action of the object of inquiry? No. Thus it is said, "All dharmas are inconceivable." Therefore, the Mahayana Sutra "Ratnagotravibhāga" says: "The self-born ones, in the ultimate truth, here only walk by faith. How can the blind see the light, the sun's disc shining? Buddha-nature, Bodhi, Buddha's merits, Buddha's activities, even pure beings are difficult to think about, this is the realm of the guides. In this realm of the victors, the mind of faith is the vessel of the accumulation of merits. The joy of the manifestation of unthinkable merits, the merits of all sentient beings, surpass all sentient beings." Thus it is said. Therefore, one should not inquire here. The venerable Dharmakirti said: "In the teachings of the Sage, it has been declining for a very long time, whoever leads to the nature of dharma by the path of inquiry." Thus it is said. For the Bodhisattva who enters into the search for the faultless dharma, constantly teaching with the method of taming, what is said by what is done, is to truly show the meaning of the teaching, saying "Then the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Sadāprarudita" etc., thus abiding.
