Therefore, to become a Bhikshu, one is ordained through the ceremony of the four karmas, hence called a Bhikshu. Therefore, this person is not a Bhikshu because of being fully ordained. Because Bodhisattvas abide in the precepts of a Bhikshu, they will not gain the opportunity to excessively indulge in desires for fear of the decline of the teachings. Even if Bodhisattvas excessively indulge in the transgressions that have been prescribed, it is not with the intention of benefiting those who abide in the Bhikshu's discipline. For example, even if one takes a heap of gold as large as Mount Meru for the sake of others, even then, a Bodhisattva abiding in the Bhikshu's discipline would not serve as a fire companion in order to protect against the division of the teachings. This is from the Bodhisattva-bhumi. In any case, indulging in desires, even if it relies on the benefit of sentient beings, it is possible to experience the pleasure arising from the union of the two faculties. That itself is the cause of the decline of the Bhikshu's discipline. Some sutras do not mention that experiencing the bliss of meditating on illusion and dream is not a cause of the decline of the Bhikshu's discipline, and that not meditating is the cause of the non-decline of the Bhikshu's discipline. The teachers say this: If a Bodhisattva, by indulging in desires, sees a great mass of benefit for others, then the Bodhisattva will not abandon others because of attachment to morality. As it is said in the Sutra of Skillful Means: "Even for a hundred thousand kalpas, a Bodhisattva, for the sake of benefiting others, would rather endure dwelling in hell by indulging in heavier transgressions, but would not abandon the root of virtue of a single sentient being." At that time, it is unreasonable and there is no opportunity for a Bodhisattva to abandon the precepts and serve desires in order to protect the decline of the teachings. In any case, a Bodhisattva abiding in the Bhikshu's discipline is called serving all kinds of desires. Therefore, this person is a Bhikshu because he has destroyed afflictions. This person has destroyed the evil destinies arising from afflictions, therefore he is called an Arya. The name Bhikshu is related to the teachings...

For the sake of fame for those who have entered, entering the Dharma itself is clear. In reality, it is completely joined to it. In the absence of the arising of a Buddha, considering the beings to be tamed, Bodhisattvas will also become holders of heretical banners. From the great Bhagavati Mother, it is only the term Bodhisattva that is uttered, not Bhikshu. Again, for those who desire something, attachment itself is intimacy from those who desire, by subduing sentient beings, therefore, for the purpose of subduing sentient beings, completely holding and increasing the roots of virtue, it is said for that purpose. As it is said in the Sutra of Skillful Means: For example, Bhagavan, whoever approaches the root of the king of mountains, Mount Meru, with a kind heart or a malicious heart, all of them will become one color. Just like having the color of gold. Similarly, Bhagavan, whoever approaches the root with a kind heart or a malicious heart or a completely attached heart, all of them will become one color. Just like having the color of the mind of the all-knowing one. Again, in that, there is a kind of medicine called 'Pleasing to See,' whoever sees sentient beings afflicted by various diseases, all those diseases will be pacified. Similarly, whoever sees a Bodhisattva with a kind heart or a malicious heart or a completely attached heart, all those diseases of desire, hatred, and ignorance will be completely pacified. It is also said there: Ananda, look at how great this quality is! Some cause other sentient beings to go to hell, but the same people are always attached to heroes. The heavens and sentient beings themselves go in that way. And so on. Attachment is existence. Obscuration is the object. The term 'in that very moment' refers to the time of the cessation of the absence of a clear mind. The true nature is the ultimate distinction. Because there is no complete affliction, it is not completely afflicted. Because there is no complete purification.
