No. Therefore, the complete purification of those is said to be because of the immeasurable nature of virtuous and non-virtuous dharmas, and so on. Immeasurability itself is the very nature of boundlessness, the very nature of emptiness. Thus, the proof of the emptiness nature of all dharmas is in accordance with the Perfection of Wisdom. After explaining this extensively, it is asked from where does this proof of the Perfection of Wisdom arise? As stated in the "Lion's Roar" and so on. Lion refers to the lion among men, which is the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones. Their voice is unique, because they themselves proclaim it together, the sound of emptiness that frightens all the deer, the other opposing heretics. Its proclamation is the teaching, which is the adornment of reality for one's own benefit. The very proclamation of the lion's roar is the meaning of realizing the Perfection of Wisdom by teaching emptiness. However, the Blessed One saw various teachings of the Perfection of Wisdom, not just the nature of emptiness alone, as it is said: because all dharmas are without confusion. Without confusion is the very doubt of not having another. This is the meaning of speaking in the ultimate sense. If there are other teachings in the sutras, they are all conventional truths, but in the ultimate sense, only emptiness is taught. These words are numerous here, and were not present in the previous texts, because the questioners were not careful. From those very texts, such as Subhuti, form is like the ocean, etc., they are quoted for the sake of re-explanation. However, some think that the differences of the Perfection of Wisdom mentioned in these boundless oceans, etc., do not appear in form, etc. Otherwise, the Perfection of Wisdom would not be pervasive. Therefore, those differences will also appear in form, etc.

English

Because of considering the matter of "understanding," it was said, "Why is that?" This is because of doubt. For example, "Rabjor, form is," and so on. Just as with the nature of emptiness and the characteristic of being boundless, the Prajnaparamita is like the ocean, similarly, the five aggregates such as form are also like the ocean, just like this: what is the Prajnaparamita, and what are forms and so on, all of these are of one nature. Just like this, this is the meaning of the nature of emptiness. Similarly, it should also be understood as being like the sky and so on. After saying, "Consciousness is the various Mount Sumeru," it is also said, "Form is like the rays of light emanating from the mandala of the sun," which can be seen in previous books. This is indeed reasonable. However, how is it reasonable? Whatever dharmas were previously shown as the ocean and so on, with the characteristic of being boundless, those dharmas that were shown are shown as being the same in that way, such as "Form is like the ocean," and so on. After the various characteristics of Mount Sumeru, it was previously said, "Form is boundless," and so on. Therefore, here too, after "being like Mount Sumeru," and so on, whatever saying is seen as "form is like the boundless," and so on, that is reasonable. Forms and so on are just as they were previously mainly shown, therefore it should be said, "Form is the same as form." There, it is not possible to say, "the same as itself." Therefore, it should not be said like this, just as it is seen in many previous books. "Form is separate from the accumulation of virtuous and non-virtuous dharmas," meaning that accumulation and separation are the emptiness of complete separation, because form is merely that nature. Therefore, "form is the same as the creation of virtuous and non-virtuous dharmas" is the meaning. "Form is separate" up to "what is the Dharma of the Buddha." All of those Buddha dharmas

All these are themselves form, because they are nominally established as non-different, so it means the same as the Buddha's Dharma. What is form separated from? It is emptiness, and that itself is the nature of form. That itself is the suchness of form. The emptiness of form, in this context, means what is spoken of by the word 'form'. Form emptiness means: emptiness is the nature of the nature of reality without limit. Form arises from the activity of the mind, which refers to the object held by the activity of the mind. Its arising is the same as that which is nominally established as non-different, that is the meaning. 'Up to non-apprehension' means that the form previously mentioned is separate, and the nature of form and the suchness of form that were mentioned are relative to that. Form is separate, as well as the nature of form, as well as the suchness of form, as well as the non-apprehension of form, as well as virtue and non-virtue, because they are nominally established as non-different, so it means the same as that. Subhuti, if that is so, means: if that is so, it means how this, this Prajnaparamita, the nature of all-knowingness and the knowledge of the path, the two previously shown, are also briefly shown in this chapter in such a similar way, that is the meaning. 'Should be known accordingly' means should be sought accordingly. Then what should be done? What is said is: 'to be known accordingly', which means: it will be heard through the collection of letters. 'To practice accordingly' means that it will be known through the body of meaning. 'Entering' means that faith will arise. 'Realizing' means that through mindfulness being established, those texts and meanings will abide in his mind at all times. 'Thinking' means that for the meanings that have been spoken, they abide closely in whatever order and time they are in. 'Measuring' means that the meaning will be examined with reason. 'Close examination' means that by this alone, all doubts will be cut off, so it will be held that this is just like that. 'Will be meditated upon' is later. The faults that hinder meditation have been completely abandoned.
