Grasping is clinging to characteristics. Manifest clinging is clinging to the thing itself. 'Not oppressing' means not being able to be taken away. The conduct of the Hearers and others is overwhelmed because their conduct is limited to their own benefit. To make the meaning spoken of stable, the Blessed One permitted, saying, 'It is so, it is so.' Now, because it is said that there is no conduct in the phenomena such as form, those who presume that there is no conduct in the Perfection of Wisdom either, to dispel their doubts, it is said that merit is abundant and the cause of it, i.e., 'Again, if' etc. 'As long as life lasts' means as long as life lasts. 'That giving' means to all Buddhas and all Bodhisattvas. 'It is much' means that even for one sentient being, that merit is much, then what need is there to say about many? 'Will become a place of giving' means that one will obtain the field of unsurpassed merit itself. 'Except for' means after abandoning. 'Except for those' is because of what? 'The unsurpassed person' means that even the Bodhisattvas who are the last of existence are extremely convenient together with the Bodhisattvas. As it is said: 'However, on a speck of dust, the difference between a cow's footprint and the ocean, is what, the difference between Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, is like that.' 'Will be killed' means like becoming a place to be killed. 'Becoming unfree' means not becoming able to obtain. 'Great sorrow' means that because of extreme love for sentient beings, there is sorrow for quickly liberating them from suffering. 'Will be remembered' means because of protecting. What is said is 'suffering' etc. 'Great giving' means the giver of those who give with their own hands, and the owner of the wealth of those who cause others to give, that is, the owner of the giving.

That which has fruit is that which has fruit. That which is called "the alms of the land" is the alms of the land. What is said is illustrated by examples, such as "for example," and so on. That which is called "abiding in the knowledge of the precious jewel" is for the sake of fully understanding the treatise that examines it. That which is called "knowing the types of precious jewels" is for the sake of being fully familiar with what is to be indicated. It is related to "the Prajnaparamita should be sought as long as it exists." "That or other" refers to the distinction of entering into what is included, and so on. Others say that the Prajnaparamita is the mind that is in perfect accord with the Prajnaparamita of many paths, and here it is the Prajnaparamita. "That" refers to whatever mind that has previously been in perfect accord with the Prajnaparamita. "Other" refers to being different by the distinction of practicing together with others who possess the Prajnaparamita, such as love, and so on. Bhagavan, with "any," and so on, this is asked: If all minds are empty by their very nature, then how can it be reasonable that they will not be separated by the minds that are in perfect accord with all-knowingness? It is not reasonable that all-knowingness should be directed towards the emptiness of emptiness by its very nature, or towards some Bodhisattva. Therefore, the Bhagavan did not speak in this way after separately examining the different dharmas of all-knowingness and the minds of the Bodhisattvas. However, Bodhisattvas will know all the merits of emptiness by their very nature in this way, and it is only by this that it is considered that they are not separated from the minds that are in perfect accord with all-knowingness, but in reality there is no difference between them in the ultimate sense. This is to establish that, Subhuti, if, and so on. Subhuti, the Prajnaparamita is emptiness, which refers to the wisdom that is pure by its very nature and without defilement, which is devoid of all dharmas, and which is empty of all dharmas, and that does not increase.
