So! Becoming an object of reproach is due to the antidote of reproach. Becoming pure is due to the antidote of universal practice. Becoming ashamed is due to the shame of considering oneself and others. Becoming abandoned is due to the power of the basis. Becoming separately established is due to holding vows of non-repetition, etc. The term 'difficult to obtain' means that it is obtained through suffering, but it is not impossible to obtain. If one asks, 'What is the use of seeking many antidotes and falling into a single antidote?' It is true. However, it is said that small means have great power, but not great ones, such as 'It is extremely heavy,' etc. The term 'Hearer Vehicle' means that in the Hearer Vehicle itself, the rituals for emerging from the seven types of individual liberation vows, the rituals for their purification, and the rituals for their violation are taught. The term 'Hearer' means that he takes the vows of a monk. If a Hearer wishes to learn it, because the Hearer's Nirvana is attained, at that time, those who have not attained it are completely diminished. In that very life, they are completely diminished from the fruit of a renunciate, and because they do not have the capacity to hold the vows of a renunciate, it becomes a great loss for them. Furthermore, if there are root downfalls of a Bodhisattva, those that cause the Bodhisattva's vows to decline, this should also be examined from the determination of distinctions. Thus, if this person first takes the vows of a layperson, etc., and then properly takes the Bodhisattva's vows, the complete decline from the fruit of a renunciate is what he desires. Because he does not desire the Bodhi of a Hearer, and because perfect Bodhi can only be accomplished in three countless eons, therefore, to show that there is no great loss for him, the term 'Hearer' is spoken. The term 'four' refers to killing, stealing a quarter of a Karshapana's worth, engaging in impure conduct, and falsely claiming to possess superior qualities of a person who has transcended the world. The term 'root downfall' means that there is no antidote. The term 'not a Bhikshuni'

This is because he has fallen from the precepts of a Bhikshu. He is called "not a pure practitioner" because he has not attained the fruits of pure practice and has completely fallen away. He is called "not a son of the Shakya" because he is not qualified to hold the precepts of a Bhikshu. He is called "subtle subtle" to refer to those things that are difficult to point out. Again, by showing the qualities that appear to be in retreat, the work of Mara is proclaimed, that is, "furthermore" and so on. To dwell in solitary places, forests, mountain caves, cemeteries, and remote dwellings is the second collection. "Is retreat" - I do not say, there are two kinds of retreat: physical retreat and mental retreat. Among them, the mental retreat of Bodhisattvas is the most important, this is the main meaning. Called "solitary place" refers to things that arise from solitary places. Therefore, it is remote. "No man's land" refers to places that are remote from people. "Forest" refers to empty places. "Retreat" refers to separation. "In the city" refers to nearby or the same direction. "Retreating with attention" refers to retreating with attention. Dependence means less attachment. Attachment means a moderate degree. Greed means a greater degree. Having excessive greed means praising oneself with oneself. Living together refers to householders and renunciants. Complete mixing refers to renunciants alone. Bodhisattva outcastes are so called because they do not live with these people. Refuting is because of refuting them with one's own faults. The image of a Bodhisattva is for learning the impure Dharma of Bodhisattvas. Disguise is because it is only similar in any way. The greed of a Bodhisattva is like a kind of grass that destroys crops, this also refers to those who have newly entered the Mahayana. Disguising oneself as a pure practitioner is a thief, this is because he holds the Dharma that is not the appearance of a pure practitioner. Dharma thief is because they do not want Bodhisattvas to do this. The remaining worldly thieves are evil.

It is solely for the purpose of making offerings. Suchness and so forth, it has been extensively stated that suchness should not be relied upon by the noble ones. Power is strength. Not possessing a teacher is because of being separated from a virtuous friend. Non-noble ones are sinful ones. There, even for a while, like this, even for all sentient beings, what need is there to mention it? Loving-kindness and so forth, with loving-kindness and the other four, they are taught with the distinction of objects. Like that and so forth is aspiration. This also, whatever this also and so forth, everything. By clairvoyance, it is to be known. Subduing others is the action of a man. This also and so forth, is gathering the later actions of Mara. The chapter on the complete expression of the actions of Mara is the chapter on Mara, that is, the twenty-first chapter. Now, understanding the profound place previously spoken of is itself non-retrogression. Knowing the actions of Mara, this also all depends on the virtuous friend, therefore, approaching the virtuous friend is taught, that is, by "Rabjor this" and so forth. How can a Bodhisattva, separated from a virtuous friend, be so extremely great, like this, perfecting all self-benefit and the benefit of others, how is it a collection relying on the ultimate limit, this is the intention. Only at the beginning, otherwise, one would not approach a virtuous friend who is carelessly fallen. The Buddha Bhagavan himself and so forth, is in order to teach them the unsurpassed Dharma. A Bodhisattva is one who abides on a higher ground than those who abide on a lower ground. In some places, it is said that a Bodhisattva is skilled in mind. Regarding this, a Bodhisattva skilled in mind, by not being confused about the movement of the mind, is able to teach the instructions of the Paramitas to the Bodhisattvas, that is the meaning. The nature of the initial practitioner's hearing and so forth, wanting to know, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are the virtuous friends. Whatever is the nature of hearing and thinking.
