From the Zhi Treatise: "Non-duality is the nature of emptiness of existence." This is what it says. Also, from the Garland of Appearances: "That state is not knowable. We speak of emptiness. Even in worldly fame, there is no falling into the meaning of non-existence." This is what it says. So, what is the meaning of "the nature that exists by its own nature will be reversed"? Is it that there is also such a reversal? Like that, although it exists in the ultimate sense, it is not that there is any slightly reversible nature that is completely liberated from the entity and non-entity, it is not. The venerable Shariputra, like this, etc., shows this. Like that, these forms, which are reversed from the truly existent things, are also not any Dharma that exists in the ultimate sense. The so-called "truth itself" is from the two ultimate truths. The so-called "abiding itself" is from the terms that establish the ultimate truth. The venerable Shariputra said this, such as "what is the form of the Dharma's nature". If there is no reversal for the Bodhisattva, then all Bodhisattvas will become Buddhas. After reversing, they will not become Shravakas or Buddhas. Thus, the so-called "three Bodhisattvas" will cause the non-existence of the three natures of the Bodhisattvas. The so-called "by the form of the Dharma's nature" is by the form that establishes the Dharmas. The venerable Kashyapa's "what is what" etc. is said and intended. If Subhuti thinks that there is only one Bodhisattva who has the vehicle of perfect enlightenment, then the three will also truly appear. Whoever does not reverse from perfect enlightenment is the one who has the vehicle of perfect enlightenment. Incidentally, whoever turns away and falls into the enlightenment of the Shravakas or the enlightenment of the Pratyekabuddhas is the other Bodhisattva, the second one. At any time, if one does not want even one, then it is said that it is impossible to reverse. Shariputra said again to Subhuti in the words of Mahakashyapa,

The inquiry is, "What, you..." and so on. Then, the Venerable Subhuti could not bear the words, "Bodhisattvas are of three kinds," and said, "Sariputra, what, you..." and so on. Everything is also due to the suchness of children, ordinary people, and all noble beings, solitary Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Buddhas, which is one. For them, there is no such thing as variety," which is stated below. Everything is one, and you want three kinds of Bodhisattvas. In any case, how can there be a difference of one, two, and three for the undifferentiated suchness? This is his thought. "What is suchness" refers to the suchness that is free from defilements from the suchness that is with defilements. The recitation of "Suchness, in that..." is self-explanatory. "If there are no three objects" is because suchness is undifferentiated and uninterrupted, and is of one nature. "Also, is suchness also an object in one form?" refers to the nature of the apprehended and the apprehender, that is, the nature of things themselves. "Without distinction" is because there is no distinction even from one's own nature. "Without difference" is from the point of view of difference. "Cannot be made different" is because the cause of the difference of the three kinds of Bodhisattvas is not seen. "From the unsurpassed Bodhi, this Bodhisattva Mahasattva will surely arise" Having heard these words, the retinue, wishing to understand the characteristics of the accomplishment of the arising that comes from abiding, inquired about the meaning, that is, "Unsurpassed..." and so on. "Abiding" is from the arising of desire. "Learning" is from habit. Below, abiding is shown through the perfection of intention and the perfection of action. Starting from "One should generate equanimity towards all sentient beings," up to "Until one becomes the protector of all sentient beings," is the perfection of intention. One should abide in turning away from all evils oneself.
