Whoever desires to be victorious, whenever they arise, the meditation on emptiness etc. of these, is also merely through the application of signs, namely, 'This is emptiness,' 'This is signlessness,' 'This is wishlessness.' Thus, even the mind of the all-knowing one, because it meditates on these through the application of signs, will therefore fall into the enlightenment of the Hearers. In any case, this meditation on emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness itself, for those who are unskilled in means, will only become Hearers, while for those who do not depart from means, it will lead to complete and perfect enlightenment, this is an example for such a doubt. The term 'birds' refers to the genus. This is the sound of genus, it clarifies that it is not the sound of teaching. The term 'one of the birds,' the term 'thirty-three,' is the cause of ta se for the receiver. The term 'being in the space of the sky' means entering the middle, as long as it is not Jambudvipa, the mind will be like this, that is, it will change in the mind like this, this is another state that was previously spoken in the mind. Shariputra, it is just like that. The term 'it is just like that' means that after the Blessed One knew the words of Shariputra, he spoke about the meaning of the talk that is unskilled in means, using 'whatever' etc. This talk will also be separated, and it will be easy to understand in the end. Therefore, the Venerable Shariputra explained with 'How am I' etc., that for those who are separated from both, there is no complete and perfect enlightenment and difference of genus, while for those who are not separated from both, there is, that is to say, one should practice the Prajnaparamita, this is for the purpose of making the wisdom of the ultimate nature of all dharmas, emptiness, become the near use, thereby making the Dana Paramita become the meaning of signlessness. The term 'skilled in means' means that for him, the means is the mind of the all-knowing one, there is no complete abandonment etc. at all times. The Blessed One recollects for the sake of the meaning of the teaching, which is expressed by 'it is just like that' etc. Now, for those whose minds are not yet mature, a true and correct summary is made, having the characteristic of falling into other realms in two ways.

Due to complete degeneration, the difficulty of attaining the profoundness of the path of the Perfection of Wisdom and manifestly and correctly arising in perfect and complete enlightenment is what the gods proclaimed. As it is said, starting from the lord of the gods, Indra, etc. "Difficult to arise" means that it is to be accomplished by the practice of not focusing on all phenomena. "Extremely difficult to arise" means that even for those who generate that practice, the things that are shown are extremely difficult to do. This is what the gods said without distinction. What the Blessed One said with the distinction of individuals starts from "corrupt wisdom," etc. Corrupt wisdom is due to the view of the Dharma in this very thing. Weak diligence is due to weak entry. Weak faith is due to the instability of faith and desire for perfect enlightenment. Unskillful means is due to not dedicating all the merits to perfect enlightenment with the yoga of no signs. Relying on evil friends is due to truly approaching those who do not show the proximity of the practice of no signs. Blessed One, how is it difficult to arise, etc.? The intention is this: Since all phenomena are without substance, realizing the nature of non-substance is not difficult. Rather, it is difficult to individually realize the characteristics of existing phenomena as they are. It is not so for non-existent things, since it is enough to know only that they are non-existent. When accomplishing, for those phenomena that exist, the practice of the perfections, etc., will be accomplished for the sake of increasing white dharmas and abandoning black dharmas. Since these dharmas do not exist, accomplishment is not difficult. Therefore, it is easy to arise, which is called perfect enlightenment. The Blessed One's answer starts from "unborn," etc. The nature of all phenomena is threefold: the completely imputed, the other-dependent, and the perfectly established. Among these, the first is to be known, and the second is to be abandoned.
