Return. Here, the statement "because sentient beings have no substance" refers to the reason previously stated, which is that because sentient beings have no inherent nature, they are immeasurable and countless, therefore sentient beings are immeasurable and countless. This is also spoken from the perspective of focusing on emptiness, the non-conceptual wisdom of ultimate reality. Thus, even after attaining complete enlightenment, in order to benefit sentient beings, the Blessed One taught the immeasurable and countless aspects of conventional reality, and this should be understood. The phrase "the minds of immeasurable sentient beings" indicates that the immeasurable itself was previously indicated by immeasurable sentient beings. Now, even if it is just one mind, it is distinguished as immeasurable because it focuses on immeasurable forms and so on. Just as immeasurable sentient beings are understood through distinctions of color and shape, similarly, the minds of those sentient beings are also immeasurable, just as existence is. This should also be observed when the Blessed One, with his supernormal knowledge, completely severs the minds of yogis who possess special qualities. The terms "immeasurable and inexhaustible" are sometimes presented. Among them, inexhaustible minds should be understood as referring to the compassion of Bodhisattvas who embrace sentient beings, because they have not abandoned sentient beings. To fully understand the meaning of what was said, the reason given is "the Thus-Gone One's." The term "blessing" is not something done by momentary impermanence. In the mind of the Thus-Gone One's Dharma-nature, the inherent nature of any Dharma does not truly arise, so what could be exhausted? The phrase "that mind" refers to abiding in the perfection of wisdom, which does not conceptually grasp the nature of all Dharmas as being unobservable, in the nature of the object and subject that are equal and the same as it. The term "uninterrupted" is because the continuum is not severed. Precisely because of this, the characteristic of the unborn nature of all Dharmas abides in ultimate reality, and is unborn. Focus
