The three called "bonds" are abandoned by the undefiled right view. The pervasive bond of jealousy, the pervasive bond of stinginess, and the pervasive bond of anger, these three, and one aspect of the pervasive bond of desire for existence, which belongs to the realm of desire, are abandoned in order to attain absorption in undefiled concentration. The pervasive bond of pride, the pervasive bond of ignorance, and the pervasive bond of desire for existence, these are abandoned by the wisdom of the path of the Arhat, because they are completely exhausted, therefore these are called the complete exhaustion of the pervasive bond of existence. That which is called "mind extremely liberated by perfect complete knowledge" means that because of complete knowledge, it is complete knowledge, that is, realization. That which is called "mind extremely liberated by perfect realization" refers to these. Or, here, liberation refers to faith, and if asked what one has particular faith in, it is the qualities of the Three Jewels, and the teachings of the Dharma that possess the three vehicles, and the Four Noble Truths, and the dharmas of the aspects of enlightenment. That which is called "mastery of all minds gone to the other shore" refers to those who, because their minds are masters of concentration, are able to enter into mastery, they are the mastery of all minds gone to the other shore. Everything is, and they are also, so they can obtain going to the other shore, the other shore is the ultimate. That which is called "many" refers to measuring. Because measuring goes to the ultimate of the other shore, it is said that the ultimate appears, which is the fault of difficulty in accomplishing things. Gone to the other shore of that noble one, if asked how, it is the order of gradually abiding in the nine successive absorptions, such as wherever one desires, and how long one desires, in accordance with reason and contrary to reason, and being satisfied with the blessings of entering into absorption, and obtaining freedom to individually discern what arises. However, if one wonders why one only focuses on these differences, it is because one does not follow the many here, for example, the enemy is affliction.

These are the afflictions, and so on. Because those are destroyed, therefore it is called Arhat, therefore it is said that what this (Arhat) desires, what should be abandoned, are the afflictions, and so on. Therefore, what is the use of saying "exhaustion of outflows"? Similarly, if it is thought that other distinctions also have the fault of repetition. Here it is said, everything is just Arhat. Why? Because of the exhaustion of outflows. Exhaustion of outflows is because there are no afflictions. No afflictions is because of having mastery. Until, by correctly and completely knowing, the mind is completely liberated, obtaining the supreme mastery of all minds, this is called the connection of qualities that should be combined. However, what is the meaning of this itself? If one first obtains the supreme mastery of all minds, therefore, with that as the reason, the mind is completely liberated by correctly and completely knowing. Until one obtains the exhaustion of outflows, then one obtains Arhat. So, how is this reasonable here? Because when, for these wisdoms of the Arhat path, one obtains Arhat itself, at that time one obtains the qualities of exhaustion of outflows, and so on. Because after obtaining the exhaustion of outflows, one obtains Arhat later, or not, it is not said anywhere. Indeed, there should be a distinction, and the nature of reason made by the nature of distinguishing and distinguishing will appear. Because when, if it is realized that those obtain the supreme mastery of all minds, at that time it is distinguished that those are completely liberated by correctly and completely knowing. Similarly, until when it is called the exhaustion of outflows, it is called Arhat. Thus, after closely showing the Sangha of monks, the nuns, the retinues of laymen and laywomen, should also understand, just as the topic is drawn from the Blessed One's mother lineage of five hundred nuns, and so on, because the topic of the teacher is the same. Therefore, Bodhi

One should also observe the five kinds of Bodhisattva retinues. Among them, as it is said, "There, the immeasurable Bodhisattvas..." etc. There are five kinds of Bodhisattvas: those with superior pure intention are on the first ground; those who abide in the absence of signs with diligence are up to the seventh ground; those who abide in spontaneous accomplishment in the absence of signs are on the eighth ground; based on that, those who enter into definite conduct are up to the tenth ground. These last ones are those who are bound by one lifetime. Again, for all the Sutras, from the complete common introduction of these to the exposition of the Prajnaparamita, it is a special introduction. Then, as "At that time, the Blessed One himself was seated on the lion throne that had been prepared..." etc., until the Blessed One entered into Samadhi, from all the limbs and near limbs, rays of light would certainly arise, and illuminate the infinite and boundless world. From these, the Bodhisattvas and others invite the retinue, etc., all should be fully understood. Because the Blessed One at one time, in the same introduction, to the same assembled retinue, showed Samadhi and miraculous displays, etc., and then expounded the Prajnaparamita. There, many different beings to be tamed were gathered. Understanding by implication, understanding by elaboration, and understanding by verbal dexterity. Regarding this, although spoken in one word, it can be understood as many, such as "For oneself," everyone can understand. With such reasoning, hearing the concise exposition of the Prajnaparamita, that is the Blessed Mother Eight Thousand Verses. For beings who understand by elaboration, that which has the aspect of elaboration is the Holy Twenty-Five Thousand Verses, for beings who understand by elaboration, only with a slight difference, it is the Blessed Mother Great One. For beings who are tamed by verbal dexterity, the exposition that is heard is the Blessed Mother One Hundred Thousand Verses.
