Introduction. Introduction. In Sanskrit: Bhagawatyāmanāyānusāriṇīnāmavyākhyām. In Tibetan: A Commentary Called "Following the Instructions of the Blessed Mother." Homage to the Holy Mother Prajñāpāramitā! In whom all concepts and all kinds of distinctions have been abandoned, And who speaks of forms and so on as being of suchness and one taste. By the power of negating permanence and so on, manifesting joy, To that supreme mother who subdues the enemies of the maras, I bow down completely here. She who is the mother of all Buddhas, This Eight Thousand, I, Following the instructions of the past, Will compose this commentary. This mother of the King of Sages, from the Protector Maitreya, Having obtained the holy path, called Unobstructed, I will combine the meaning that has been obtained. For the sake of the meaning of folded-hand supplication, I will strive. Abandoning bad friends, do not mistake the evil paths for the royal path, I have arranged the steps in order, on the good path, come, my son! Wherever, whatever has arisen for a long time, wherever I am amazed by the difficulty, To the holy one who has become a measure, the footprints of the Wheel-Turning King, this is the supreme acceptance. In order to protect the form bodies of the Tathagatas of the Fortunate Aeon and the assembly of the sacred Dharma, the great Bodhisattva Holy Vajrapani asked within the assembly, and with words such as "Thus have I heard," this is the explanation of the Prajñāpāramitā, I promise to the Holy Maitreya that this is what I have heard. Why not say, "The Blessed One said thus"? Because proclaiming the teachings of the Blessed One is not one's own realm. Why is that? Thus, according to the order spoken by the Blessed One in the Secret Sutra of the Tathagatas, the sphere of activity of the Tathagata's wisdom, in the countless various worlds, gathering various beings to be tamed, especially for those who are different with various inclinations and views, with various languages in a single instant, showing various meanings, thus the Tathagata

The method of teaching those who can be subdued is not, in any way, the scope of activities of Bodhisattvas. If that is the scope of activities, because it can be explained in the order of collection, therefore, in order to be able to collect the Dharma, and taking another order of teaching the Dharma within one's own scope of activities, "Thus I have heard" shows the order in which it enters one's own ears separately. At the end of the teaching, it is also collected from "Thus it was said," not "Thus it was said." Furthermore, the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, do not teach the Dharma to others with words, because the ultimate truth is unspeakable, and the Tathagatas are always in meditative equipoise, non-conceptual and spontaneously accomplished. However, due to the power of past aspirations and the karma of sentient beings, it is truly known how to teach the Dharma to the trainable beings in their respective languages. Because it arises from the power of the Dharmakaya, in order to generate respect for the sacred Dharma, it enters the teaching in this way at the end of the collection, and it is said that the Bhagavat "said thus." Again, in order to make some Sutras manifest the pure discriminations of worldly beings, the teaching of the Dharma is also proclaimed, and for that aspect, "Thus it was said" is the main thing. "At one time" means at any time. Why was the time not specified? Because there is no need. Because there is no need to say that it was taught in this month or on this day, there is no need to explain, and what is unnecessary should not be said. Explaining the place is reasonable, because it is the place of the stupa, for the sake of sentient beings accumulating merit through offerings and prostrations, etc., and for the sake of no dispute, the determination of time is not explained either. Thus, the Tathagata, in a moment, in an instant, for the sake of various different worlds and various different trainable beings.

It is seen that they practice with various kinds of cushions. If all of those were gathered together, just like that, in this day and other places, we would generate the saying 'The Tathagata is there.' Like that, those who truly gather all the worlds through transformation, did not fix a time. Or, because he often stayed in Rajagriha, if it is thought that one should say 'at one time' while staying in Rajagriha, then the word 'at one time' is added. 'Bhagavan' means having the power to conquer the four maras, or because he possesses excellent qualities, he is called Bhagavan. The word 'རྒྱ་' (hetu, हेतु, hetu, cause) is only the cause and reason, because one wants to express it with the word 'doing'. Those are also the six kinds such as sovereignty, namely sovereignty and beauty, splendor and fame, wisdom and diligence, fully endowed. It is heard that these six are called 'Bhagavan'. Therefore, because he possesses all sovereignty, he is Bhagavan. Among them, the word sovereignty does not mean being controlled by others, because the Bhagavan possesses this, therefore he has abandoned all obscurations including habitual tendencies. The Bhagavan has a complete form, because he is the body adorned with the supreme marks and all the excellent minor marks. He has complete fame, because his voice is widely spread in all directions and corners. What kind of perfection makes him the support of many people, that is splendor, and this is complete in the Bhagavan, and because all the perfections of the world and beyond are to be relied upon by those who desire them. He has complete wisdom, because he has unobstructed wisdom without attachment to all knowable things in every way. He has complete diligence, because he is always constantly working for the benefit of others in every way. Where does that Bhagavan reside? It is said that he resides in Rajagriha. Rajagriha is the city of the Magadhas. How is it called Rajagriha? Because in the past there appeared a king named the god of the past, who began the correct sacrifice.
