Ending with "manifesting merits" is not a complete and pure recitation. The end of the second narrator, the twenty-five thousand verses, is also the same. From the summarized narration, select previous stories to recite, this is the intention of the Blessed One in completing this matter. Whenever the twenty-five thousand verses of good questioning are completed, the Blessed One speaks thus. That is the idea that the compilers did not write down, so it was added by themselves. Here, most people add, reverse, and recite through realization, which is called disturbance, and this must be used for the manifestation of pure recitation. Except for one person, namely the Venerable Ananda, the meaning of which is: if everyone says they are Arhats. Therefore, the Holy Ananda has merits, or not. Starting with "one," etc., that is, "except" means excluded, usually, all consciousnesses have the difference between merits and faults, so "person" refers to what is usually said, in order to explain the difference, explain with two unfinished words such as "for example," that is, Ananda. When the Blessed One attained perfect enlightenment, the goddesses who manifested joy were surrounded by three thousand three hundred kotis, raining down various weapons of Mara, conquering with a thousand loves, the Blessed One attained perfect enlightenment, when asking King Suddhodana, because great joy arose, therefore he was named Ananda. The characteristic of "Venerable" is to abandon the meaning of contempt, therefore, from the perspective of taming, the name of the elder should have characteristics. Otherwise, there will be situations such as falling. In terms of characteristics, it can also be seen in the Vinaya, the elder can only be called "bhikshu," and not "venerable." Even so, one should first say "Sangha bhikshus please listen," and then call the rest "Venerable."

It is so. Therefore, in the Sutra Pitaka, it is said, "Noble Subhuti, the venerable Shariputra," and the noble Shariputra is also called "the venerable Subhuti." Otherwise, how could one say "venerable" to the elderly Shariputra? Now that the Bhagavan has passed into complete nirvana, after a long time, the elderly will be referred to as "venerable," but not as "venerable one," which is certain. By saying this, just this much is enough to correctly summarize the topic, so it is a brief explanation. Topic.
