It is in order to realize that very object itself. Sleep is the involuntary entry of the mind into itself, exhausting the gates of the senses such as the eyes and not entering. Moreover, the entry of the mind that is entirely dependent on oneself is sleep. The rest is easy to understand. The chapter that speaks of rejoicing and dedication is spoken of in that way, that is, the sixth chapter. Thus, having heard that merit arises from rejoicing and dedicating to offerings, recitations, generosity, and so forth in the Perfection of Wisdom, the venerable Śāriputra, in order to increase the joy of the other retinues as well, composed sixteen verses in praise of this Perfection of Wisdom, in order to accomplish the omniscient wisdom, and so forth. From where does the accomplishment of omniscient wisdom come? That is what is spoken of in that way. By abandoning afflictions and the obscurations to knowledge, and by perfecting through generosity and so forth, this accomplishment speaks of the state of the cause. The state of the result is spoken of as, it is called omniscient wisdom. The reason for this is, it is called making it clear, eliminating all the darkness of obscurations is elimination. Called doing that, this is the perfection of elimination. Or, the ultimate appearance to all dharmas is making it clear. Called doing that, it is the perfection of wisdom. Therefore, I prostrate to this now. Called worthy of prostration is moment by moment thereafter. One verse shows two perfections. Now, with two verses, the abandonment is spoken of, called without approaching, because all obscurations and defilements have been exhausted. Called not being approached by all the worlds, because the defilements of the three realms have been exhausted. Now, with three verses, wisdom is spoken of, called making it appear, appearance is the ultimate appearance to all dharmas, that is, doing that. Here, with two verses, two causes are spoken of, called making it separate from the dimness of all those of the three realms, dimness is not knowing. Reversing that

It is the wisdom free from dimness. All is without remainder. The three realms are the ultimate meaning of the three realms. Among them, being free from dimness means pervading the object of focus. The so-called dispelling all the darkness of afflictions and views, afflictions and views are afflictions and views. They themselves are darkness, being both everything and those themselves. The so-called dispelling them means that all unfavorable things are exhausted. All this alone proclaims the perfection of one's own benefit. Speaking with the intention of perfecting the benefit of others, the so-called "relying" refers to all those who desire attainment. The so-called "supreme," supreme is the nirvana with remainder. Because it is the fruit of the paths to enlightenment, it is the supreme of those. Nirvana without remainder is bliss, which accomplishes it. Or, transcendence of the world is bliss, which accomplishes it. The so-called "illuminating the blind" means that as long as there is no wisdom that transcends the world, they are blind. In order to generate that in them, they are illuminated. The so-called "completely abandoning and illuminating all fears and harms" means that the light that abandons all fears and harms is the path of meditation that transcends the world, which accomplishes it. This much has explained the meaning for those who abide in the lesser vehicle. Speaking with the intention of the benefit of the Bodhisattvas, it is the five eyes and so on. They are the main factors for benefiting others. For the benefit of others, this is also the cause of accomplishment, possessing the retinue of the flesh eye, the divine eye, the wisdom eye, the Buddha eye, and the inexhaustible Dharma eye, by the distinction of the object of focus. The so-called "Bhagavan Prajnaparamita is the eye" means that without difference, it itself is the eye, because it sees the ultimate meaning of all dharmas. The so-called "causing to be free from delusion, darkness, and dimness," delusion itself is darkness and dimness, it is the ultimate darkness, because it obstructs seeing reality as it is. Among them,
