The Explanation Called Following the Instructions of the Bhagavati. The Explanation Called Following the Instructions of the Bhagavati. Introduction. In Sanskrit: Bhagawatyamanayanusarini nama vyakhyam. In Tibetan: The Explanation Called Following the Instructions of the Bhagavati. Homage to the Holy Mother Prajnaparamita. In whom the nature of conceptualization and discrimination is abandoned. And form and so forth are said to be of one taste with Suchness. By the power of manifestly delighting in the negation of permanence and so forth. To that supreme mother who is the enemy of the maras, here I bow down completely. That which is the mother of the Buddhas, This Eight Thousand, I, Following the instructions of the past, Will compose this explanation. This mother of the King of Sages, from the Protector Maitreya, Here, the noble path is said to be attained without obstruction. Whatever meaning is attained, that I will combine. For the sake of supplication with folded hands, I will exert effort. Abandoning bad friends and not mistaking bad paths for the royal path, I will arrange the steps following the footsteps, and to the good paths, son, come! Wherever and whenever something arises from afar, something difficult and wonderful to me, This laughter of the feet of the noble, perfect, and sovereign one, I will take as supreme. In order to understand how to protect the form body and the assembly of the holy Dharma of the Buddhas of the Auspicious Aeon, and when the Holy Vajrapani, the great Bodhisattva, asked within the assembly, and by saying, "Thus have I heard," I pledge to the Holy Maitreya that this explanation of the Prajnaparamita is what I have heard. Why is it not said, "Thus spoke the Bhagavan"? Because this boastful statement of the Bhagavan's teaching is not my own domain. Therefore, according to the order spoken by the Bhagavan in the Secret Sutra of the Tathagata, the various predispositions of the disciples gathered from various realms of the world where the ultimate sphere of activity of the Tathagata's wisdom is without limit, and especially with various views and

For those who have developed faith, (the Buddha) almost completely reveals various meanings in various languages in an instant. The order in which the Tathagata teaches beings to be tamed is not the realm of activity for all Bodhisattvas. Whatever becomes the realm of activity can also be explained in the order of collection. Therefore, in order to be able to collect the Dharma and grasp the order of teaching that is one's own realm of activity, the order in which it enters one's own ears is shown separately by "Thus have I heard." At the end of the teaching, it is also summarized by "Thus it was said," rather than saying "Thus it was said." On the other hand, the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, do not teach the Dharma to others with words, because the ultimate truth is unspeakable, and the Tathagatas are always in meditative equipoise, spontaneously accomplished without discrimination. However, due to the power of past aspirations and the karma of sentient beings, it is truly known that teaching the Dharma to beings to be tamed in their respective languages will inevitably occur. Because of the power of the Dharmakaya, in order to generate respect for the Holy Dharma, the teaching is thus introduced at the end of the summary, and it is said, "The Bhagavat said thus." Furthermore, in some Sutras, in order to make worldly beings inclined towards pure discrimination, the teaching of the Dharma is also explained. For that part, "Thus it was said" is the main content. The term "at one time" refers to any time. Why was the time not specified? Because there is no need. Because there is no need to specify that it was declared in this month or on this day. Things that are not necessary should not be said. Explaining the place is reasonable, because it is the place of the stupa, for the sake of sentient beings accumulating merit through offerings and prostrations, etc. In order to avoid disputes, the specific time is also not explained.
