Just as it arises, it is not existent in that way. It is not non-existent in all aspects, but merely arises as an illusion. Furthermore, why is it not desired that this be non-existent? Because, when it ceases, it is considered liberation. These are those who wish to practice yoga, who consider consciousness-only to be ultimately real, placing emptiness in that state, like moments and so on, with distinctions that are merely imputed by conceptualization. Those who say that the nature of consciousness is ultimately real, and that emptiness, which is ultimately real, is nominally existent, conventionally existent, and dependently originated ultimately existent, have truly deviated from the teachings. Therefore, it should be understood that their view is that images will arise. If someone, through the power of being separate from one and many, realizes non-truth, and regarding the dependent, thinks, "When it ceases, it is considered liberation," this is not desired. However, those who, like illusion, and with the characteristic of being unbearable to examine, are said to have become the nature of realized knowledge, directly realize emptiness, and attain the Dharmakaya, to say that delusion has not subsided at the time of realizing the Dharmakaya of the Bhagavan is not very good. For us, there is no delusion in the appearance of the unreal. If it is said that one grasps as that which is not that, then this definition is reasonable for those who speak of consciousness with aspects, but not for the Middle Way. For example, how can it be said that the appearance of the false, the unreal, the non-existent, is not a delusion? For someone with cataracts, even if there is no hair, the appearance of hair is not a delusion. However, attachment to external hair is also called delusion in the scriptures and in the world. Therefore, in terms of the nature of appearance, consciousness is said to be ultimately real. The meaning of the wisdom of the noble one who transcends the world is called the object. Therefore, those who speak of consciousness with aspects meaninglessly proclaim themselves to be Madhyamikas, because they do not understand the ultimately real emptiness that is liberated from existence and non-existence.

If it is said that considering the cessation of the continuum of consciousness as falling into degeneration, because of attachment, dwelling in a non-dwelling place, and merely considering liberation as the exhaustion of external conditions due to fear, then for those who do not say these things, this is also an image. Because, in the state of samsara, the nature of various defilements and various sufferings is manifest, and whatever exists of these is also unbearable. Therefore, it does not transcend the very nature of reality. Liberation, which does not cling to afflictions and suffering as supreme, should be acknowledged in any way. Therefore, the cessation of the impure, illusory-like continuum of consciousness, not clinging to afflictions and suffering as supreme, and the arising of the continuum of pure wisdom, which is similar to illusion, is called liberation. Whatever impure consciousness appears as form, that is form. Its destruction is the arising of another pure one, which is merely an image. We have said in the extensive explanation of no-self-nature: The destruction of the establishment of the formed, and any speech of aspects is also pacified, approaching attainment. Illusion and illusion are equal in abiding, called speech inverted, because there is no pacification. Merely by illusion, other famous desires, this is guided by the same desire, and this is also a long-lasting, non-extremely abiding dispute, whatever abides in its own nature is also taken and abandoned, this is the entirety of the extensive explanation. Things For this, extreme non-abiding is extreme non-abiding. Some say that dwelling on the side of non-existence is extreme non-abiding, for those, this is also an image. Because, non-thing is reality, therefore, at the time of realizing form and so on, true arising does not exist, because it is harmed by non-thing itself. That is the ultimate truth even in the state of samsara, but because it is obscured by close grasping, it is in a lower position, those are acknowledged accordingly. In this way, how can this nature of reversing all objects of perception exist at the time of perception? Therefore, at the time of realizing reality, how can the previously existing objects of perception such as form
