Therefore, when he knew the time had come, he declared the reason there, which is "Kauśika, the past..." and so on. Since all Buddhas are born from the Prajñāpāramitā to attain perfect and complete enlightenment, therefore, seeing the Dharmakāya etc. is the result of practicing the Prajñāpāramitā, which is a logical view. "Bhagavan, for example..." and so on. This refers to what was spoken with the ultimate Prajñāpāramitā in mind. When all its dharmas are viewed with the yoga of non-apprehension, it becomes a vast realm like the sky. To show this vast realm, there is "Bhagavan, Tathāgata..." and so on. "Completely knowing" means "with the yoga of non-apprehension." To clarify this, there is "correctly seeing." To clarify the meaning, the Bhagavan said, "It is just so..." and so on. Bhagavan, the great nature of the mother, through hearing, has no connection with other pāramitās, and it is perfectly possible to ask questions, namely "from then on..." and so on. "For all" means that without giving etc. which have become means, perfect and complete enlightenment cannot be achieved. As it is said: "The steadfast ones correctly unite in the six pāramitās." So, why is the Bhagavan mother the main one? He said: "Kauśika, however..." and so on. "Completely grasped by skillful means" means that by dividing this into two ways, it is shown, namely "completely dedicated by the Prajñāpāramitā." Through it, dedicating each of their own natures, the nature of non-apprehension, illusions, etc. to all-knowingness and all aspects of knowledge. The meaning is that the Bodhisattva is filled with compassion, and for all sentient beings, he gives them everything they want. Although this is called giving, it is not the pāramitā of giving. When giving or not giving is also completely purified, then it obtains the name "pāramitā." Bodhisattva...

In their first ground, starting from individually understanding the realm of phenomena that pervade all, dwelling near suchness by manifestly seeing the pursuit of all aspects, and not otherwise. Moreover, being able to give at the time of giving, and not for the sake of individually grasping. Therefore, there is nothing called complete giving in the ultimate sense. Because, whatever is completely given, such as food, drink, and dwelling, relies on the phenomena of complete imputation, so it is unreal like a dream and like an illusion. Thus, the object of giving, the very thing to be given, and the nature of the beggar, all rely on being separated from the nature of what is perceived by the respective receiver, that is the perfection of giving. Because the Bodhisattva initially relies on conventional truth with the power of compassion and gives with worldly conduct, while abiding in ultimate truth, he purifies with the perfection of wisdom through transcendental conduct. Therefore, abiding in conventional truth with compassion, he realizes from pure intention; abiding in ultimate truth with wisdom, he purifies with completely pure conduct. Therefore, everything is measured by the accumulation of merit for the sake of the benefit of sentient beings through compassion; and by the accumulation of wisdom for the sake of enlightenment through wisdom. Only then is it called the perfection of giving. By this, at that time, the objects of the initial generation of the mind, sentient beings and enlightenment, are not abandoned, and this is what becomes a Bodhisattva in the true sense. On the ground of faith conduct, the perfection of giving of a Bodhisattva is also not ultimate truth. Therefore, giving is done with the three spheres devoid of inherent existence. Other extremely contradictory things also enter as if not contradictory through the power of the perfection of skillful means. That is, the compassion that grasps conventional truth and the wisdom that grasps ultimate truth are like the combination of creatures that walk on land and walk in water.

Like an ox. Even extremely contradictory unions are without contradiction, and accomplishing things together as friends is said to be what bodhisattvas accomplish the ultimate of enlightenment and is extremely beneficial. Thus, abiding in the prajnaparamita of all paramitas, one should realize the purity of the three circles. I possess discipline, this is discipline, this is breaking discipline, not fixating on these three. I possess patience, this is patience, this is anger, not fixating on these three. I possess diligence, this is diligence, not fixating on laziness and so on. Not fixating on equipoise, samadhi, and distraction. Abiding in the prajnaparamita, for the prajnaparamita, not fixating on the wise, wisdom, and broken wisdom. However, abiding in that, how is one purified in that? The meaning is this: when the dharma called prajnaparamita does not truly exist, therefore, abiding in the non-conceptual nature of prajnaparamita, at the time of non-conceptual prajnaparamita, the three realms are merely suchness, etc., arising in a conventional manner, truly gathered by the path of union, discriminated by wisdom, and also completely grasped by non-conceptual wisdom, only then does it obtain the name of paramita. Therefore, abiding in the prajnaparamita is said to be practicing the prajnaparamita. Even so, it is said: if one truly sees all dharmas, then prajnaparamita itself is the forerunner. There, first is the nature of the path, which is with discrimination, distinguishing each dharma. Non-conceptual prajnaparamita is its forerunner, it is said. Without difference, it is said that prajnaparamita is one's own nature.
