It is due to pride and so on. "Diligence" is due to the practice of faith and so on. "Remembrance" is due to praise and prostration and so on. "Offering" is due to offering flowers, incense, perfume, lamps, and sacrificial food and so on. "Drawing" is due to offering abundant and numerous flowers and so on. "Reverence" is in order to make others also universally practice. With what things to revere and so on, in order to approximately indicate, some things are shown, namely flowers and incense and so on. "This is my teaching" and so on, must be connected with listening and so on. And why do this? Because of doubting "why do this" it is said: "From this" and so on. Because like this, entrusting the important matter completely, and taking this opportunity to say the words of entrusting, namely "what do you think" and so on. "After offering" means to make it completely pleased with perfect intention, with all reverence. Therefore it is said: "Love", "to this body" means to my body. Like this, "this" means joy and so on. "Completely entrust" means to establish it as it is. "Subsequently completely entrust" means to subsequently connect and entrust it as it is. Why completely entrust? Therefore it is said: "This will not decay, no matter what", meaning, how to do so that this will not decay. "Will not become an inferior person" means that one is ignorant of what has been done and so on, and has a negligent behavior. And why show such special respect for this? "As long as it exists" and so on. Because from the Buddhas one has obtained the undeluded realization of the Dharma, so when the Tathagata abides, it is also the gateway to the teaching. Therefore, as long as the teaching of the Prajnaparamita exists, the Tathagata truly exists, because the teaching itself is carrying out his work.

So it is. In the abode of the Tathagata, there is a distinction between seeing the Tathagata, hearing the unprecedented Dharma, and the Sangha dwelling in close proximity. Therefore, how can there be no distinction? What is said is that those are inseparable, and so on. Seeing the Dharmakaya is the main aspect of seeing the Tathagata, and that is also the meaning of being gathered by the Prajnaparamita. Therefore, it is said: 'Those who see me in form, or know me by sound, those people walk in wrong discrimination, and cannot see my body. One should view the Buddha as the Dharmakaya, the guide's Dharmakaya is the Buddha's body.' Being inseparable from hearing the sacred Dharma is because there is no other Dharma besides the Prajnaparamita, whatever is taught by the Tathagata. Being inseparable from attending to and serving the Sangha is like the Sangha being like a companion for obtaining the city of Nirvana. To attend to them is to enter the city of Nirvana. To accomplish this, the Prajnaparamita itself exists. To hear and hold the Prajnaparamita, etc., is only to practice in the presence of the Tathagata. Because the act of dwelling in the presence of the Tathagata has meaning for seeing the Buddha, etc. Thus, the great Bodhisattva Vajrapani, having personally heard from the Bhagavan, gathered and fully clarified the content not revealed by the Bhagavan from the collection of nouns, the collection of sentences, and the collection of letters, etc., that emerged from the glorious face of the Bhagavan, and said: 'Thus it was spoken,' and so on. 'Thus it was,' refers to the Prajnaparamita Sutra. 'Spoken,' refers to what was said. 'Bhagavan,' refers to the Sambhogakaya and Nirmanakaya of the Tathagata. Even so, the scriptures say that the Nirmanakaya of the Tathagata is surrounded by monks, nuns, laymen, and laywomen, and resides in Rajagriha (present-day Rajgir). The Sambhogakaya of the Tathagata

He abides with the retinue of Bodhisattvas. From the unique retinue, those Bodhisattvas who are diligently engaged in practice know that the Dharma is taught from the Sambhogakaya, while others arise from the Nirmanakaya. If the many great Bodhisattvas know that the teachings of the Bhagavan are liberation, then they also understand from these two bodies. The teachers say this: those Bodhisattvas who have attained the bhumis, the Bhagavan makes them extremely happy and satisfied with the Sambhogakaya, and they attend to and serve them. Having heard the Dharma taught from the Sambhogakaya, their Buddhadharma is completely matured, not from the Nirmanakaya. Therefore, they do not approach the Nirmanakaya for the purpose of teaching and hearing the Dharma. Others who do not have the fortune to see the retinue and the Sambhogakaya only see the Nirmanakaya. Therefore, all Mahayana teachings are taught by the two bodies, and therefore, in the scriptures and commentaries, the noble Vajrapani is praised as the compiler. The Shravakas do not understand the teachings of the Sambhogakaya, and the Bhagavan has declared this, what kind of conclusion is this? Similarly, for others, other explanations that contradict the scriptures and commentaries should not be accepted. Because the teacher Vasubandhu, in order to explain five hundred sutras, the Lord Maitreya taught, therefore, how could he explain it upside down? From the Guru's oral instructions, one wishes to clearly destroy the harm to the scriptures and commentaries. The noble Asanga, who spoke thus, himself takes refuge in the Guru's oral instructions. His feet also, having attained the samadhi of the stream of Dharma, personally heard the Mahayana from the Lord Maitreya, as well as the treatises composed by the Lord, such as the Madhyantavibhaga, which is very famous. The noble Asanga, by the power of faith, cannot say that the Lord's teachings are of upright meaning.
