Since non-discrimination leads to enlightenment, its pervasive function is non-discriminating like space, hence the analogy of space. Although the external realm possesses pervasive non-discrimination, it is not the inner self-nature. To address the doubt that only through discrimination can one enter, and that practice has not yet been accomplished, the analogy of a magical person is used to illustrate that the inner self-nature also achieves non-discrimination. If wisdom is non-discriminating, then in cognition there will inevitably be an object to be cognized; even so, to address the doubt that the nature of the grasper and the grasped will change, the analogy of an image is used. An image does not change, because the object that produces the image is the holder, yet the produced image is called the holder. Similarly, non-discriminating wisdom, in the stage of practice, arises by contemplating the emptiness of all phenomena. In the stage of realization, only the nature of emptiness is attained; otherwise, it cannot be called holding emptiness. Therefore, it is said: 'The knowable is without difference, the knower is free from discrimination.' For non-differentiated wisdom, it is merely the attainment of the nature of emptiness. As it is said: 'There is no discriminator, there is nothing to be discriminated, in ultimate truth these are not present here, alas! The nature of reality, extremely difficult to understand, you will understand.' Bodhisattvas can attain non-discriminating wisdom on the first ground, but that is not truly the most supreme, because the perfection of wisdom has not been accomplished. Therefore, to show accomplishment, the analogy of the Tathagata is used. Merely entering the first ground, Bodhisattvas can separately realize the all-pervasive realm of phenomena, therefore they attain the wisdom of equality. On the Buddha ground, ultimate accomplishment is attained. If the Bodhisattvas' perfection of wisdom is encompassed by non-discriminating wisdom, then they have no discrimination towards sentient beings, how can they benefit sentient beings?

Because of the doubt that it is "the one who can do," it is a metaphor of emanation. If it were like emanation, it would not change like this, this is the meaning of "I will do it." However, just like that, even though the Bodhisattvas do not have discrimination, they will in various ways, according to the different beings to be tamed, accept them and do various deeds. The second point of the meaning of what was said, to show with the metaphor of the wooden illusion wheel, what is to be told is like "for example" and so on. The chapter that approximates with an illusion-like mind is the illusion-like chapter, that is, the twenty-sixth chapter. After hearing such non-discriminating conduct, the Venerable Shariputra, with the wisdom of truly knowing "Alas, this Dharma is vast, that is, Prajnaparamita," said, "Alas, it is acting in the essence!" The sound of "Alas" is the meaning of joy. For such Prajnaparamita, for the ultimate meaning, it is said "essence." The Venerable Subhuti, with the thought that "named Prajnaparamita, is there a real Dharma," said, "For the non-essence," meaning that there will be a little named essence for real things, but for Prajnaparamita that transcends unreal things, there is no thought of a little real essence. For this conduct, the teachings of the gods arising faith are "thereafter" and so on. "After generating the mind" is because without generating the mind, such conduct cannot be accomplished. "Manifestly accomplishing" refers to truly accomplishing by accomplishing the Paramitas of giving and so on. "Profound" is because for those who have not generated the wisdom of the noble ones, it is difficult to receive with the nature of liberation from real and unreal. This habituation is for the meaning of increasing, not for the meaning of manifesting, that is, "acting like this also." Thus, he shows the four causes of the act of prostration with the generation of the mind, that is, with the generation of the mind to perfect the intention and manifest
