The 'self' with five (senses) is desirable. Because at any time, experiencing feelings such as happiness and suffering is contradictory, yet they hold such views. Others say that the 'self' is unconscious, without disease, until death. They also describe it with eight things, saying that the 'self' is eternal, without disease, and not conscious until death. Similarly, some say that as long as the 'self' is neither finite nor infinite, it is not conscious until death. Similarly, those who say 'neither conscious nor unconscious' have eight views, that is, the 'self' is eternal, and until death is 'neither conscious nor unconscious', and as long as the 'self' is neither finite nor infinite, then until death it is 'neither conscious nor unconscious'. Thus, there are temporarily fifty views. The annihilationists have seven views. One of these views is like this: Some people hold the view that the 'self' is tangible, vast, composed of the four great elements, born of parents, and as long as it exists, it is always accompanied by disease, karma, and suffering, and once separated from the body, dies and transmigrates, it will disappear. In this way, the 'self' will be completely annihilated, just like broken tiles cannot be reattached, or a stone breaks. Another view is that the 'self' exists, is tangible, has all the limbs and organs, comes from the heavens, and enjoys desires. Once separated from the body, it will be completely annihilated. Similarly, there are those who come from the heavens and enjoy the realm of form. There are four views of the formless realm, starting from approaching the sphere of infinite space, until approaching the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception, which will be completely annihilated until death. Therefore, there are seven views of the annihilationists. There are five views that believe in attaining Nirvana in this life. One of these views says this: If the 'self' obtains direct experience of consciousness and masters yoga, then he obtains freedom and power, completely abandons the five sensual pleasures of the gods, is completely immersed in them, plays and rejoices, enjoys Nirvana in this life, and obtains purity.

Knowing that the earth deity is pure. Others, such as the Isvara and the state of Isvara, are not as they are, because desires change, completely change, and are detached, giving rise to sorrow, lamentation, and so on. Therefore, being secluded from desires, with initial application and sustained application, born from the first dhyana and abiding, having attained nirvana in the present life, one thinks of oneself. Because initial and sustained application arise correctly, one also thinks of this as vast. Because of being free from initial application, without sustained application, the joy and happiness born from samadhi, the second dhyana, one thinks of nirvana in the present life. Others, in this also, with the vastness of mind caused by joy, one thinks of vastness itself. Having abandoned attachment to joy, experiencing happiness with the body, the third dhyana of equanimity and complete purity of mindfulness, one thinks of nirvana in the present life. Others, this is called happiness, with the effort of the mind, one also thinks of this as vast. The fourth dhyana, which is neither happiness nor suffering, is said to be one who possesses nirvana in the present life. If this also abandons attachment to form, then at that time, that latent tendency is also abandoned, but because of habituation, one is not liberated from the three realms. Thus, although temporarily he attains nirvana in the present life, he thinks of himself as liberated. These are the five views of nirvana in the present life. If all are counted together, as stated in the Brahma Question Sutra, there are sixty-two views. These are all included in the view of the aggregation of destruction, because other views are rooted in it. The so-called "will accumulate" means that because the life force abides, the reality of the self abides. The so-called "not knowing" refers to the opposite of the perfection of wisdom. The so-called "supreme" refers to the supreme nature of the practice of the perfection of wisdom as it is taught. The supreme nature of merit is the supreme of merit. That which demonstrates it is "What do you think?" and so on. That which is connected to the bell, the existence, is a small part of the bell.
