There are four types of those with and without boundaries. One is that by relying on small concentration, one correctly seeks the boundary of the world, seeing the world with boundaries in the upper, lower, and side directions. That is called having boundaries. Another is that by relying on great concentration, one sees the world without boundaries in the upper, lower, and side directions, and is called without boundaries. Others rely on intermediate concentration, and when they think that there is no other shore below the Avici hell, there is no object of focus in the direction above the fourth concentration, and there is no object of focus in all directions on the sides, then the upper and lower directions are concepts of having boundaries, while the sides are concepts of being without boundaries. Another is that by the power of reasoning, one says that the world has boundaries and is without boundaries. Or, clinging to various letters, the fourth view arises, but not the third aspect of so-called various meanings, these are the four views of having and not having boundaries. There are also four types of scattered talkers. Here, some ascetics or Brahmins know individually that we are gods and completely pure gods. When they ask the gods questions about the truly completely pure gods, they are scattered there, and when they ask questions, they will obtain verbal scattering. Others are not found individually. Therefore, they are called scattered gods. Some of them learn individually in this way: I know this, that is, is there a future world or not? If he were to say that it exists or does not exist, then that would be lying to myself. He asks questions, fearing the fear of lying, and fearing the possibility of not knowing, so saying that I do not know will not be a clear prophecy. Even so, one will obtain verbal scattering such as neither that nor other. Others will learn in this way: Because I do not know this, is there a fruition for the deeds of good and bad actions?

Others, because they are not skilled in their own realization, are afraid of the fear of being questioned and the fear of wrong views, so they do not clearly explain, but obtain distraction with words such as "it is not so." The third is to learn like this: I do not know this is good, this is not good. If I know this is good, this is not good, then the wise and sharp debaters of the world, the Shramanas or Brahmins, will challenge me, and I will be troubled by their questions, because I am afraid of being questioned, so like before, I will obtain distraction with words. All the ignorant ones, because they are not skilled in the path to higher realms, or the path to certain good, or are asked about suffering and the origin of suffering, the cessation of suffering and the path, they are not even skilled in the letters, so I do not clearly say that I am ignorant, but ask others, and then follow along, like before, I will obtain distraction with words. Because for those who come to debate, these will become like this: there, what is to be proven, what is to be understood, this is to be gathered here to observe, to know. Thus, these views will become eighteen kinds. Others, again, Shramanas or Brahmins, after death, say that they are conscious, without disease, and still speaking after death, they say this with sixteen things: Some say, I am permanent, without disease, and conscious after death. Similarly, I say that I am impermanent, or permanent is also permanent, impermanent is also impermanent, or neither permanent nor impermanent, finite, or infinite, or finite is also finite, infinite is also infinite, or neither finite nor infinite, I am conscious after death. Similarly, I say that I am of permanent consciousness, of various consciousnesses, of small consciousness, of infinite consciousness, completely happy, completely suffering, or neither happy nor suffering, I am without disease, and conscious after death. If they are the aggregates
