Like signs such as "etc.," acting on those signs, and through those signs, for the sake of abandoning it, like this and so on, as before. The fifth cause is spoken of as "other" and so on. To become a god, Indra, and a universal monarch, desiring this enjoyment of existence, is merely a wish. For this, inverted views are the root, therefore, for the sake of abandoning the four inverted views, as before. For this, impermanence and so on are extremely well-known in the tradition of the Hearers, and will be explained according to the tradition of the Great Vehicle. For this, with the distinction of the three natures, impermanence has three aspects: the nature of the completely imputed is not permanent, therefore it is impermanent. Because it has arising and ceasing in every moment, the dependent is also impermanent. Previously, in the state of samsara, there is liberation with defilements and liberation without defilements, therefore, the thoroughly established is also impermanent. It has also been said like this: "The meaning of non-existence is the meaning of impermanence, having the nature of arising and ceasing, the meaning of with defilements and without defilements, the fundamental suchness proceeds in order." The three natures are the fundamental suchness, the nature of the completely imputed is suffering, because it generates the clinging to persons and phenomena as real. The nature of the completely imputed, because it does not exist by itself, even if it is not suffering by its own nature, even so, due to the clinging to persons and phenomena, whatever clings to the completely imputed will be harmed, therefore, it speaks of its suffering nature. The nature of the dependent is the suffering of suffering, the suffering of change, and the suffering of conditioning, which is the nature of these three sufferings. The nature of the thoroughly established is also suffering because it is related to these three sufferings. Just as blue and so on are known by relying on the support, blue and so on themselves, in the nature of the completely imputed, whatever children completely impute as the nature of beings or the nature of phenomena, that itself is non-existent, therefore, signlessness is the selflessness here.

O! The self-nature of other-dependence is dependent origination, like an illusion, merely the nature of delusion. Just as the self-natures of what is grasped and what is held, etc., by children are completely distinguished, therefore, liberation from such a self-nature is the selflessness here. The self-nature of the perfectly established is only selflessness, because it is the nature of non-duality. Similarly, the self-nature of the completely imputed is impure because it is the cause of dispelling manifest clinging. Other-dependence is by its own self-nature. The perfectly established is because it is related to it. This is merely symbolic, showing what is said in treatises such as the Distinguishing the Middle from the Extremes, where this is more detailed. With words such as "whoever," the meaning of the previously stated causes is summarized. By using the remaining meaning of causes such as non-manifest aggregation, it is shown that non-manifest aggregation falls into inferior bodhi. The so-called three realms are samsara. With words such as "Subhuti, Bodhisattva Mahasattva, how," the questions and answers of the Bodhisattva are understood. The seven causes of non-retrogression that are spoken of, if the Bodhisattva's question also becomes a statement of emptiness, etc., then one should practice it, become completely familiar with it, and not manifest it again. For this, the method is to completely abandon the mind of all sentient beings, etc., therefore, it should be understood as a prophecy. If such a question is answered in another way, it should be understood as not a prophecy. Because that ground is not suppressed, it is called the ground of non-retrogression, the eighth ground is the ground of non-retrogression. In what way does it exist? etc., if this person has not obtained the eighth ground, then how will he become non-retrogressive? If he has become completely familiar with it, and as an answer of non-retrogression, because he fully possesses the characteristics of non-retrogression, he will become non-retrogressive, this is what the Bhagavan said. Thus.
