Because I have attained the first dhyana and so on. The so-called "solitary place of disease" refers to being afflicted by disease. Because one has entered the stage of practice by faith, one must revolve in three countless eons, so one should not contemplate attaining perfect enlightenment after a long time. What is said is that one should not contemplate it first, and so on. How should one not correctly contemplate attaining perfect enlightenment after a long time? Why is that? Because of doubt, it is said, "Whatever moment of mind," and so on. The meaning is this: even in the conventional sense, there is no such thing as time that is different from the continuum of moments of mind, because the moments of mind also arise individually, and are shaken by instantaneous destruction, so for whom is it long? The so-called "just this much" refers to the measure of a moment of mind. The so-called "without beginning" refers to where I will revolve. The so-called "without end" means that a moment without parts has no end. Thus, in this order, because one must accomplish a long time, one should not generate a difficult understanding. What is the reason? What is said is "many and long." The so-called "this end without beginning" means that without beginning refers to the future. Why should one not generate a long understanding? What is said is "one moment of mind," and so on. Because there is nothing slightly different from each moment of mind, what is said to be the long end without beginning. Similarly, what is said is "just like this, without end," and it should be explained as before. The so-called "thus" refers to summarizing. The so-called "unbearable fear" refers to the cause of permanent fear being unbearable fear. How can one speak as the Tathagatas have spoken? It refers to how the Tathagatas previously practiced the conduct of Bodhisattvas and also made aspirations, and I will also do this, therefore it is said that one should speak. Similarly, in order to accomplish by action, one should do as it is said. The characteristic of undisciplined wisdom.
