It is shown in the samadhi itself. If, again, the previous samadhi without characteristics is taken as the main one, even if there is not, by the nature of non-arising, emptiness and desireless samadhi can be obtained. If all dharmas do not exist, then even if the Prajnaparamita is cultivated, it will increase, then the Bodhisattva who enters the three samadhis in a dream, for them, the Prajnaparamita will also increase. If, again, the Prajnaparamita does not increase in a dream, but it will be there in the waking state. When it exists like this, in dreams and waking states, for the existence and non-existence of dharmas, there will be some difference, so they arrogantly think and ask. Therefore, the venerable Subhuti, with "if" etc., shows the equality of dreams and waking states, here the Bodhisattva does not tremble by not focusing on dharmas in waking and dreaming states. Therefore, a dream is called, a day is called, this is just a nominal name. Thus, when daytime and dreams are pure and in the same nature, if the wisdom of samadhi in the waking state increases, then the wisdom of samadhi in the dream will also exist and increase. Why is that? It is called non-discrimination, discrimination is difference, non-discrimination is non-difference. Shariputra said: Venerable Subhuti, etc., this is the idea of the venerable Shariputra. If dharmas are the same in daytime and dreams, then what is the use of doing good deeds such as giving alms and evil deeds such as killing in dreams, and the increase of good deeds such as obtaining heavens? Or what will be accumulated here by the power of evil deeds to give hells, etc.? Because that person accumulates. In daytime and dreams, dharmas are the same, and the accumulation of the doer of good deeds has the nature of heavens, etc.

it will also become like that. The exhaustion of non-virtue is characterized by hell and so on. Therefore, two kinds are spoken of. Some books, etc., have the word "so hao," which is in the form of a fragment or the letter A becoming a fragment. Those who ask about it pronounce it close to the sound of "o" due to carelessness. Subhuti said: How can the Blessed One say that all dharmas are like dreams? The meaning is that accumulation and exhaustion exist only for real things. If all dharmas are like dreams, then in daytime and wakefulness, that karma and the agent are not present in any way. Why do you still speak of accumulation or exhaustion? If someone in a dream also sees a river full of water, or sees the ocean drying up, nevertheless, that will also become so and near exhaustion. Therefore, it has been shown that for a Bodhisattva who has temporarily achieved complete accomplishment, there is no difference in seeing daytime and dreams as the same. "That is also," etc., because it shows the difference between daytime and dreams, it is said for the sake of newness. "That person" refers to the person who kills during the day. "From tomorrow" refers to killing in a dream, and upon waking, still always rejoicing in both, saying, "I killed." At that time, what accumulation will there be in rejoicing in what was done during the day? What exhaustion will there be in what was done in a dream? If there will be, then please make it exist by the difference between dreams and wakefulness, this is his thought. To expand the thought of killing, it is explained by "how," etc. "Alala, killed" means that "alala" is an exclamation. Like that, very guarded is also, marveling at "I killed." "Killed well" means that it was done well, killed. "Killed very much" means that it was killed very much, having done this, it will not live no matter what. Who did that? The answer is "I killed." The Venerable Sariputra to the Venerable Subhuti's words to the newly initiated Bodhisattva

Furthermore, due to the power of discrimination, arrogance arises regarding the difference between dreams and waking states, as stated in "Venerable Subhuti, if..." and so on. The Buddha, the Bhagavan, speaks again in this way: "If, due to the power of discrimination, there is a difference between dreams and waking states for a beginner, then even the fully accomplished Bodhisattva exists. For the Buddha, the Bhagavan, there would also be a difference between dreams and waking states due to the power of discrimination." This is what is to be said. The perception of cessation refers to the knowledge of cessation, saying, "My faults have ceased." The "also" refers to karma. Like a newly trained Bodhisattva, accumulating during the day due to the power of discrimination and becoming exhausted in dreams, this is how arrogance arises. "That is not so" refers to the Bhagavan who sees without focusing on any phenomena, transcends the world, and abides in non-discriminating wisdom. How can you, like a newly trained Bodhisattva, be arrogant about the difference between dreams and waking states due to the power of discrimination? Similarly, for a fully accomplished Bodhisattva, seeing without focusing on any phenomena is non-discrimination itself. Based on this, it is said that there is no difference between dreams and waking states. How can this be reasonable? For the sake of abiding in non-discriminating wisdom, there is no difference between dreams and waking states, but for a beginner who engages in discrimination, it is said that there is a difference, which is an argument. What is said is "Thus," and so on. "Thus" refers to the order of what is said. In some books, it is not explained as "Venerable Subhuti, if the Buddha, the Bhagavan," and so on. Instead, it is explained as his karma, etc., or it may be exhausted. Immediately after that, Subhuti's own words are "Venerable Shariputra, thus," and so on, the meaning of which is clear. Not born from no object, mind does not arise without an object, which refers to mind, intention, intelligence, and discrimination, meaning
