It is said that it generates a great deal of merit. Therefore, Subhuti's question is that a Bodhisattva who is inseparable from the Perfection of Wisdom, who manifests and performs actions and possesses the nature of merit, because he is a universal discriminator, therefore he will not generate a great deal of merit, which is a reasonable idea. Some old pothi do not have this explanation, because the writers were careless and added it. Otherwise, everything, including what the Blessed One said, would be related. Subhuti and others are the Blessed One's answer. We say that by purifying the manifested actions, solely by the Perfection of Wisdom, and completely by the nature of ignorance, it is not said that more and greater merit will arise. Then, how does one distinguish the merit manifested by a Bodhisattva, which is always empty in every way, and accumulation and emptiness? Having distinguished in this way, because it is inseparable from the Perfection of Wisdom, it is said that immeasurable and countless merit will arise. Among them, because there is no nature of the completely imputed and other-powered, it is emptiness. Because children do not understand, the suffix 'ཀ' is added to the meaning of not understanding. What merely appears is speech. Because there is no lord, it is accumulation. Because it is not the object to be grasped, it is emptiness. Because there is no grasper, there is no essence. Like this, it refers to emptiness and so on. What is different, what is there, what is the difference? Because it is raised according to the situation, the fourth question is asked: Difference is also superior. Difference is also cutting off. Because distinguishing them is to determine each other, how is difference understood, therefore both are taken. Measurement refers to the vast and complete cutting off. Because there are none of those, it cannot be measured, therefore it is immeasurable. Counting refers to counting in the language of one and so on. Exhaustion refers to leading to the ultimate.

Therefore. The Blessed One, "Are there various names?" etc., spoke the fifth question, that is, "Form is also not different," etc., which was said considering the fully established nature of emptiness. "What words?" etc., spoke the sixth question. The remaining words are redundant, meaning the main speaker. He declared immeasurable merit, therefore, intending how to make form etc. immeasurable. "Of emptiness," etc., that is, with the characteristic of non-appearance related to emptiness, he declared immeasurable merit. Form etc. are the nature of emptiness, meaning that its essence is also merit. "Is this just emptiness?" etc., to the existing seventh question, the Blessed One clarified it, that is, with "What do you think?" etc. He declared that all dharmas, with the essence of emptiness, will also perish at different times, that is, "It is also inexhaustible," meaning that at all times it does not abandon the nature of emptiness, so it is like space. "It is also immeasurable," because it is the essence of emptiness like space. "These dharmas" refers to inexhaustible, immeasurable, emptiness, non-appearance, and so on. However, sounds also have various kinds, meaning how to distinguish different parts from one thing. Therefore, it is said, "This is an explanation of the manifestation of the Dharma," that is, for beings who are combined with great compassion and various interests, the Blessed One manifests various teachings. The so-called "with this explanation" means that the teachings of conventional truth are homogeneous causes. The so-called "rare" means that the nature of Dharma itself is the inexpressible Suchness. In order to correctly show that there are also various expressions in the inexpressible nature. Even so, it does not harm the inexpressible nature, so

Moreover, through the power of symbols related to the ultimate meaning, in order to understand that which cannot be expressed. If it becomes inexpressible, then, it is said, the inexpressible nature of all phenomena will not be understood, which is a wonderful thing. How do I seek the meaning as the Bhagavan has spoken? And so on, previously it was only said that the Dharma-nature is inexpressible. Now, in order to show that all phenomena that are not different from that Dharma-nature are inexpressible, this is recollection, and the Bhagavan said: 'It is just so.' And so on. The eighth question is: 'What else?' And so on. Bhagavan, what else? Because emptiness is expressed by that which cannot be expressed, and emptiness also has no change, and there is no increase due to white Dharma, and no complete decrease due to black Dharma. For the Paramitas, in the ultimate sense, there is no increase or decrease because of emptiness. If so, by what cause will the Bodhisattvas, for the Paramitas, by the power of increase, by its power, realize the unexcelled, perfect and complete enlightenment, or how will they approach it?' This is the ninth question. The Bhagavan answered thus: 'It is just so.' And so on, rejoicing in the words of Subhuti, however, and so on, showing the power of skillful means and complete dedication. For the meaning of the Paramitas, for the meaning of the characteristics of the Paramitas, because it is the nature of emptiness, there is no increase or decrease. Thus recollecting, in two ways, enlightenment will not be attained, if one has an attachment to the view of the Paramitas such as giving, or if one recollects these as the nature of emptiness in the ultimate sense, and does not enter into the practice of the Paramitas, or does not completely dedicate to perfect enlightenment, that is
