Having understood the absence of inherent existence in phenomena, one also engages in the practice of the perfections that follow. One will also fully awaken to all phenomena. This is the meaning of what is called the difficult-to-arise Bodhi. If, for example, it is said that if all phenomena are made equal to space because of their utter lack of inherent existence, even then there is no attainment of Bodhi, then it would become easy, not difficult. If that were the case, Bodhisattvas would not engage in the six perfections in the world, because without abandoning the perception of objects, they would not enter into perfect Bodhi. Because for those who engage in objects in that way, there is no Bodhi, therefore, in order to see that those phenomena themselves are utterly without inherent existence, it is said that fully awakening to those phenomena themselves is an extremely difficult practice. Again, in order to explain the meaning of the fact that the venerable Subhuti is easily prophesied to attain perfect Bodhi, the Bodhisattva turns away from perfect Bodhi, so these are taught and practiced, that is, what else, etc. Here, four aspects are shown: Do phenomena such as form turn back? Or do some other phenomena turn back from phenomena such as form? Or does the suchness of phenomena such as form, together with its defilements, turn back? Or do other phenomena turn back from the suchness of form, etc.? Thus, by showing that it is impossible to turn back in accordance with the four aspects, it is shown from the perspective of turning back by not becoming fully enlightened and not becoming enlightened, that is, what else is form fully enlightened, etc. At that time, some will turn back. If some will fully awaken, that is its meaning. Perfect Bodhi, like before, is also negated by the four aspects of not becoming fully enlightened, and it is also negated by the four aspects of not becoming a perfect Buddha, that is, what else is form, which is unsurpassed and perfectly

For example, with phrases like "Is it knowable in the Bodhi of annihilation?" Thus, by entering in four ways, it showed the impossibility from the gate of following and the gate of turning back, and again showed the impossibility of entering itself in two ways, namely, with phrases like "What do you think?" The so-called "Suchness" refers to what is said by those with defilements. Now, will the extremely pure and undefiled Suchness regress? Besides it, what other dharma will regress? Among all dharmas, what will regress? Thus speaking, in order to establish the principle of non-regression, what is said is "In what Dharma-nature is it itself?" etc. The so-called "in the manner of not abiding in all dharmas" means that not abiding in all dharmas itself is the combination, is the manner. Therefore, there is no dharma that abides in Dharma-nature, Suchness is unique, it is the meaning of the existence of the ultimate truth. Then, what is said, "Will it regress that exists as the ultimate truth?" means "What is the dharma that has become Suchness?" Thus, arrogance is made. The nature of non-duality is Suchness, and the nature of being separate from duality is also not non-existent like a rabbit's horn, but the non-dual exists. With that nature, the ultimate truth that can be known individually by the noble ones is not the nature of things. As it is said in the scriptures: "The non-dual is non-existent, existence is the nature of emptiness." It is also said in the Garland of Appearances: "That state is not knowable, we say it is emptiness. In worldly terms, it does not conform to the meaning of non-existence." Then, what is said, "Will its nature exist with its nature and regress?" means "Is there such a regression existence?" Thus, although the ultimate truth exists, there is no trace of the regressive nature that is liberated from things and non-things, what is said "it is not there," that is, the venerable Shariputra, such words, etc., are to show this reason, thus these ways are truly existing.

Turning away from these, there are also some dharmas that are not truly existent, that is (its meaning). The so-called "truth itself" refers to the two ultimate truths. The so-called "abiding itself" refers to the terms that establish the ultimate truth. With "what is the form of the Dharma," etc., the venerable Śāriputra spoke thus. If the bodhisattva does not regress, then all bodhisattvas will become buddhas. After regressing, they will not become śrāvakas or buddhas. If that is the case, the three bodhisattvas, the three natures of the bodhisattvas, will not exist, that is (its meaning). The so-called "in the form of Dharma" means in the form of establishing dharmas. The venerable Kātyāyana's "whoever, whatever," etc., are what is said and thought. If Subhūti thinks that the bodhisattva with the vehicle of perfect enlightenment is the only one, then the three will also truly appear. Whoever does not turn back from perfect enlightenment is the one with the vehicle of perfect enlightenment. It implies that whoever turns back and falls into the enlightenment of a śrāvaka or the enlightenment of a solitary buddha is the other bodhisattva, the second one. When no one wants even one, then it is impossible for the one to regress. Śāriputra asked Subhūti again from Kātyāyana's words, that is, "Do you," etc. After that, the venerable Subhūti could not bear the statement that "there are three kinds of bodhisattvas," so he said, "Śāriputra, do you," etc. Everything is an ordinary person, and everything is also the suchness of noble beings, solitary buddhas, bodhisattvas, and buddhas, which is the only one. For them, diversity does not exist, which will be mentioned below. Everything is one, but you want three bodhisattvas. In the suchness that is not different in all aspects, how can there be the so-called difference of one, two, and three? This is his thought. What is suchness
