The meaning of "-po" has already been explained. Since it is desired to describe them separately, it is spoken with a single word. In some places, the expression "Bodhisattva, Bodhisattva" appears, where the two words are understood as "that" and "that." A term is a name. "Dharma" refers to things. "Whatever" means not whatever. If all dharmas exist, then why would any dharma become a term? It is said: "Bhagavan, for example, I have not truly seen the dharma called 'Bodhisattva.'" One should think like this: Does a Bodhisattva, who has the nature of a thing, arise from the nature of a name? Or does it arise from the nature of a sentient being? Or at the time of form, etc., does it arise from the nature of terms such as dharma being permanent or impermanent? Or does it arise from the nature of dharmas such as form? There are these four possibilities. Among them, a name is not another dharma of dharmas, because if the name of dharmas becomes another dharma, then when that and the dharma with the name arise, that should also arise. But it does not arise, because in order to make it suitable for designation, it is only with the nature of expression that others are later separately established, saying, "This is the name of this." Because if the name also arises at the time when the dharma arises, then others who have grasped the expression would also understand "This is the name of this" merely by seeing it. But it is not understood. Therefore, the name does not arise at the time when the dharma arises. It also does not cease because the dharma ceases, because even if the thing with that name ceases, that name is still designated, and this is not frightening. Therefore, since there is no arising or ceasing, it is not another dharma, but this is merely the intention of designation. The nature of a sentient being is also not reasonable for a Bodhisattva, because a Bodhisattva does not grasp self-nature, and like self, etc., makes distinctions. Distinctions enter in two ways. A Bodhisattva is manifest by himself.

Therefore, will it become the nature of the five aggregates? Just as those who speak of annihilationism completely conceive of the self. Is it something else that is different from the five aggregates? Just as those who speak of eternalism completely conceive of the self. Regarding this, for the time being, the five aggregates are of the nature of the distinction between the apprehended and the apprehender, because the apprehended does not exist, therefore the characteristic of the apprehended is not reasonable. The apprehender also does not exist, because there is no apprehended, therefore this is unreasonable, it is said. Since the five aggregates do not exist, therefore will sentient beings of that nature become Bodhisattvas? If there is also a sentient being that is different from the aggregates, then it will also be realized in that way, but it is not realization either. Therefore, why are sentient beings like the horns of a rabbit and the son of a barren woman, etc., the same as the son of a barren woman, Bodhisattvas? The five kinds of form, etc., that are permanent or impermanent, etc., the nature of mere words, a Bodhisattva is also not reasonable. Because form, etc., do not exist at all, because they are completely imputed. Why would those completely non-existent Bodhisattvas of mere words exist? The nature of the Dharma of form, etc., is also not reasonable as a Bodhisattva, because form, etc., do not exist in the nature of complete imputation. Because that does not exist, therefore that and the nature of the appearing consciousness, also in other-dependence, are non-existent merely by the untrue appearance, therefore the remaining perfectly established nature arises from those. All Dharmas are also the nature of Suchness in the state of perfect establishment. Therefore, observing what is it called by the name Bodhisattva? Because what is said that one sees another? Or if conditioned Dharmas are seen in the Dharmadhatu of unconditioned Dharmas, this also does not exist, because there is no difference. For example, Suchness itself is called conditioned phenomena in the impure state, but that itself is un-

Are called the made. However, the water that was not clear before, but later became very clear, is still called that water. However, the sky that was previously stained by clouds and so on, but later became immaculate, is still called that sky. Similarly, the Suchness that was impure before, but later became very pure, is still that Suchness. Therefore, there is no difference in essence between conditioned and unconditioned dharmas. Therefore, where can one see what? Because one truly sees oneself with oneself, it is not said that way. These also only arise from the great ones in the yoga of non-apprehension of the four directions. That is, beginning with "I" and so on. The name "Prajnaparamita" means that Prajnaparamita also arises from names and so on with a different nature. Therefore, how should it be seen, just like a Bodhisattva? This is the intention. The word "so-called" is very famous, like the appearance of a king, called King Suddhodana, which is the principle of purity. If neither is seen, then what is reasonable? It is said. Beginning with "I do not see" and so on. If the Bodhisattva is invisible, then how can the dharma of names and so on become a Bodhisattva? The answer is: The dharma of the Bodhisattva is also. The self-nature dharma of the Bodhisattva is the dharma of the Bodhisattva. Because does the Bodhisattva exist in the nature of the completely imputed, or does it exist in the nature of the other-dependent, or does it exist in the nature of the perfectly established? Regarding this, the completely imputed is unattainable, the so-called "Vidala" means to obtain. It is not obtained. Because it is extremely non-existent, like a rabbit's horn. The nature of the other-dependent is invisible, because it is false, only appears, but does not exist in its own nature. With the perfectly established, one cannot truly see, because in that state, all dharmas are of one taste with Suchness, so where can one see what?
