Because it has the nature of being like the sky, it is similar to the sky. However, these characteristics spoken by the Tathagata after attaining perfect enlightenment were not present before. Therefore, what is said, "How is it the same as the sky?" refers to "these" and so on. What is said, "not counted as form," is because they are the nature of emptiness. What is said, "not dependent on form," is because those equal to the sky have no dependence. What is said, "Like the sky, the Tathagatas appear in hundreds of ways, and there will be a creator to initially establish them," means, "These characteristics are not established by gods, humans, or non-humans." The characteristic of the complete establishment that does not change in Dharma nature and the complete establishment that does not revert from inversion is what is said, "cannot be moved," meaning it cannot be moved or harmed. What is said, "These characteristics are only this much" means that whatever characteristic harms the opposite of something, it is not by its characteristic. Because even if the sky is distinguished by the divisions of aggregates and so on, it does not harm other skies. What is said, "not established by hand" is because it exists at all times like the sky. Therefore, what is said is, "Sons of the gods, any," and so on. World Honored One, the sky is not established by anyone. For example, the sky is unconditioned, so it is not established by anyone, and similarly, these characteristics are to be understood in this way. Sons of the gods, thus, whether the Tathagatas appear or not, and so on, is the abiding of the Dharma. The characteristic of abiding is spoken of because the characteristics exist at all times, so how can someone be called a Tathagata at any time? What is said, "How do these abide?" and so on, what is said, "called Tathagata," means truly realizing or realizing suchness, therefore, it is the definitive term for the word Tathagata. What is said, "These profound characteristics," and so on, refers to the characteristics being perfectly enlightened.
