The nature of abandoning and what should be abandoned, and the nature of having abandoned, are called three types. The nature of cessation and the nature of realization and the nature of realization are called three types. The nature of the path of the truth of the path and the nature of what should be cultivated and the nature of cultivating are called three types. Therefore, there are twelve types. Because of the Prajnaparamita that possesses such qualities, the elder asks how to abide in it, starting with "How does the Bhagavan?" It is not asking about the method of abiding in Prajnaparamita here, because Indra will ask below, and because it is for the sake of teaching. Here, "how to abide" refers to the manner of abiding. It means, how to enter with respect and abide. The so-called "how to the teacher" is because he has also done the work of a teacher for this, so one should enter with respect, such as offerings, as the teacher. The so-called "why ask this" is because he is thinking because he is not satisfied with just this need. The so-called "why" refers to what is the occasion for asking now. The so-called "what is the basis of why" refers to what was the previous occasion. Therefore, Shariputra, in order to show him the main point, begins with "grasped by skillful means." The Bodhisattva who is grasped by the means of Prajnaparamita, rejoices and has merit, and with the Paramitas such as the conditioned giving, with my own nature, the merit will become superior, that is the meaning. Here, it is said with the metaphor of the blind, just like कौषिक (kauśika, Kausika) this like for example etc. Others are overwhelming, after the so-called "overwhelming", therefore I asked this from this basis. कौषिक (kauśika, Kausika), however, in order for the five Paramitas to also enter the path of all-knowingness, Prajnaparamita itself is the first to go, that is how to add sentences. Even this addition is not in the previous books. This order is not in the large (books) either. Previous

There is no explanation for the commentators either, and that is why here, the Vinaya Hidden and others have made many other explanations, which is said by the Venerable Master. This is also not relevant, so for what reason will everyone gain eyes? For the former, in order to attain omniscience, the ultimate mother showed the chief essence of Prajnaparamita to the abbot. Therefore, intervening in the middle, what is the occasion for me to ask from this basis? Only this chief essence is complete, Kauśika, but again, what other occasion is there? Therefore, asking from this basis, no other reason is seen, and this is only a supplement. As for the term "blind person," the word "blind" is to show that there is no extreme independence, like other blind people. Like other blind people, because there is no following of the previous. Not completely guiding is because there is no guide. Not qualified is because it is not suitable. Entering the path is because it only enters the path of starting to walk, for the sake of walking, it is for obtaining the mother and so on. Not obtaining the name of Paramita, because not clinging to Prajnaparamita, it is not suitable for going to the other shore. Having become blind, like a blind person, because one cannot realize Suchness oneself. Not completely guiding is because there is no guide. Therefore, because one's own and others' abilities are incomplete, one is not qualified. Entering the path of omniscience is the stage of faith and practice. Attainment is realization. The so-called "gaining eyes" is because by the power of fully grasping the power of wisdom, for generosity and so on, also like wisdom, in order to obtain complete enlightenment, in all ways and at all times, it is the nature of the cause. That itself, for all other Paramitas, is the supreme and complete enlightenment.

The nature of wisdom arises from the power of the Prajñāpāramitā. Therefore, great reverence should be paid to it. Thus, how should one ask the teacher, how to abide in the Prajñāpāramitā in that way? The Blessed One's answer is not knowing satisfaction, asking me for other thoughts, what is your intention? How to manifest the Prajñāpāramitā? It is to manifest the inclination. Here also, it is not asking about the manner of manifesting the Prajñāpāramitā, but asking about the result of manifesting the Prajñāpāramitā. Observing form without manifesting, is to make the formless manifest. What is called the manifestation of the Prajñāpāramitā is that, for all phenomena such as form, it shows that they do not exist in the nature of the completely imputed and the dependent, and makes the nature of the perfectly established, like the sky, manifest. This is the manifestation of the Prajñāpāramitā. The manifested Prajñāpāramitā is powerful because form etc. do not exist, that is its meaning. The statement of the manifestation of form is something that previous teachers have not explained, therefore the meaning is irrelevant. This does not produce any dharma, the so-called all dharmas do not exist, transcending the other shore, non-conceptual, spontaneously accomplished wisdom, is called Prajñāpāramitā. At that time, there are no other dharmas, what would the Prajñāpāramitā separately establish? Therefore, when no dharma is established, then it is counted as Prajñāpāramitā. However, in that state of the Dharmakāya, even omniscience is not seen as different, therefore, will it also become not established? Asking with such an intention is, Blessed One, what is Prajñāpāramitā? Like what is observed, it does not establish, etc. Prajñāpāramitā is non-conceptual, is equal.
