Therefore, it is certain that this is harmful. If asked what kind of valid cognition observes, it is said to be inference. Whatever is self-cognizant is not a special characteristic of others, such as happiness and so on. If it is said that the consciousness that is the subject of debate is also self-cognizant, this refers to the contradiction of self-nature. If it becomes a special characteristic of others, then self-cognizance is not reasonable, which is a harmful valid cognition. Here, it should not be doubted that blue and so on are uncertain, etc., because they are also established by self-cognizance in the ultimate sense. Therefore, from the perspective of appearance, they are scattered outwards, thus mistakenly thinking that they are special characteristics of others. In this way, blue and so on do not exist in the ultimate sense, so they are merely consciousness. This is reasonable, so there is no fault. Similarly, regarding the state of external objects, just as with self-cognizance, things abide as they are, but things themselves are not exactly like that, so there is no fault. The example of non-establishment is also not established, because experiencing happiness and so on is experiencing happiness, but not truly experiencing the aspects of happiness and so on, etc., because externalists such as happiness do not exist, and have already been analyzed in detail elsewhere. Therefore, in this way, this is the consciousness that is devoid of the aspects of grasper and grasped, and there is nothing else. If consciousness does not have grasper and grasped, then what else is there for that which has become consciousness? Those who see this shore do not truly realize the other nature that is liberated from the grasper and grasped and the two. If they truly realize it, they will fall into the fault of only seeing it. If this is the case, then all sentient beings will be liberated without effort. For those who infer, there is also no result, because the non-dual nature itself is the result, and it has not been established by valid cognition. If someone says that the nature that appears as two is also like a rabbit's horn, and is not a result, then this fault does not exist, because whatever becomes non-existent is not the nature of the appearance of realization expressed by the word grasper.
