The Explanation of the Condensed Verses of the Holy Perfection of Wisdom, A Servant of the Three Jewels. The Explanation of the Condensed Verses of the Holy Perfection of Wisdom, A Servant of the Three Jewels. In Sanskrit: Arya Prajñāpāramitā Saṃgraha Kārikā Vibarṣa. In Tibetan: The Explanation of the Condensed Verses of the Holy Perfection of Wisdom. Homage to the Perfection of Wisdom! The yogi who, with a respectful mind, meditates upon it, is unhindered and without fault, enabling sentient beings to be free from doubt and attain the supreme and perfect state of the Victorious One. In whom there is no thought of annihilation or permanence, nor grasping or grasper, I bow my head to that all-knowing mother, the Perfection of Wisdom. Having definitively liberated from the grasped and the grasper, Having completely abandoned permanence and annihilation, I pay homage to the Perfection of Wisdom, the mother who gives birth to all knowledge. Composed by the master Dignāga. With "Perfection of Wisdom" and so forth, I shall briefly explain the condensed explanation of the Perfection of Wisdom for the sake of remembering for those of little intelligence. Thus, what should be practiced here by the Bodhisattvas? It is the Perfection of Wisdom that should be practiced and generated, for it is desired that it itself manifest as the fruit. Likewise, the collections of scriptures of the Perfection of Wisdom, such as the Eight Thousand, should also be practiced. What is the meaning expressed by the term Perfection of Wisdom, which is to be practiced? Therefore, it is called non-dual wisdom, where duality refers to the grasped and the grasper. That wisdom in which there is no duality is non-dual. Among these, the grasped refers to forms and so forth, how they appear. The grasper is the consciousness that appears therein. Therefore, this states that the consciousness that is devoid of the grasped and the grasper is the Perfection of Wisdom.
