When inhaling, inhale mindfully, inhale mindfully, and truly know that you are inhaling, this is called focusing on mindfulness and awareness, and diligently inhaling. When inhaling a long breath, thinking that you are inhaling a long breath, this refers to when a beginner strives to remember with mindfulness and awareness, his body and mind become very pliable, and the inhalation and exhalation gradually become subtle and difficult to perceive. At this time, yogis will perceive by taking a long breath. Some say that for the sake of rest, one should meditate alternately with short and long periods. Others say that inhaling and exhaling without excess is called long, and occasionally inhaling and exhaling is called short. A potter or a potter's apprentice, a potter refers to a master, and a potter's apprentice refers to a learner. The mention of both is to show that the perfection of the yogi and the beginner are in accordance with each other. The gate of the realm and the gate of following the body are easy to understand. Regarding the gate of impurity, there are nine explanations: one day after death is swelling, two days after death is bruising, three or four days after death is decay, five days after death is worm-eaten, which means worms entering. All past times also have the same nature. The future is also of the same nature. What is happening now cannot transcend its dharma nature. Regarding the explanation of "eating" and the explanation of "already eaten," these two explanations are the impurity of what has been eaten, which is divided by distinguishing between the present and the past. The explanation of flesh and blood piled up like mountains, with tendons crisscrossing, and the explanation that none of the three exist, these two explanations are the impurity of flesh and blood. Bones, skeletons, without marrow, separated, turned into the color of conch shells, scattered on the ground are called explanations, and the bones of the leg bones.

The corpse is also scattered elsewhere, and the donated bones are also scattered elsewhere, these are two explanations. These two explanations are the scattered aspect of impurity, distinguished only by scattering in one place and scattering in all directions. The following two explanations are the bone lock aspect of impurity, distinguished only by the color not changing and the bones not breaking, and the color changing and the bones breaking. Thus, there are eight kinds of impurity: decay, donation, putrefaction, worm-eaten, being eaten, bloodstained, scattered, and bone lock. Worm-eaten and decay are actually the same. Among them, the first step of all contemplation is non-attention. Through the five body contemplations related to consciousness, and the eight impurities unrelated to consciousness, a total of thirteen ways to explain mindfulness of the body. This is the fifteenth explanation. Twelfth chapter. The second part, the four right exertions, means that through it, the mind is rightly settled, therefore it is called right settlement, which is diligence. Diligence is also divided into four types according to the difference in actions. Generate desire, strive, exert diligence, hold the mind, rightly settle, meaning that diligence is also divided into four types: armor diligence, application diligence, non-arising diligence, and skillful means diligence. First, put on the armor like this, this is what is said to generate desire. After that, start the application in accordance with wearing the armor, this is what is said to strive. After that, even if encountering major difficulties, do not generate weariness, but increase diligence itself, this is what is said to exert diligence. After that, completely abandon the improper ways and abide in the correct ways, this is what is said to hold the mind, rightly settle, these two indicate this. Among them, if the mind falls into dullness, then contemplate through holding the mind

Because of focusing, it is called mind focusing. If the mind becomes scattered, through manifesting and gathering mindfulness, for truly abiding, it is called truly focusing. Third, called the four legs of magical power, refers to the Dharma that transcends the world, which is the basis and place of magical power, so it is called the legs of magical power. They are desire, diligence, mind, and contemplation. For example, some people, when cultivating virtuous Dharma, increase strong desire, relying entirely on the power of desire to practice, well determining and remembering, without other thoughts, the mind becomes focused. The samadhi that arises from his desire is called desire samadhi. Some people practice through the diligence of the four right abandonments, practicing with the diligence of abiding in virtue, and are very involved in abandoning non-virtue and generating virtue, the mind becomes focused. The samadhi that arises from his diligence is called diligence samadhi. Some people engage in taming their minds, through calm abiding and focusing, and the causes of equanimity, truly abiding their minds, through the power of taming their minds, the mind becomes focused. The samadhi that arises from his mind is called mind samadhi. Some people, whenever they practice truly, abandon inappropriate attention, attend appropriately, do not generate all afflictions, and habituate all antidotes to afflictions, thereby no longer creating sinful and non-virtuous deeds. At that time, he thinks: Am I not creating sinful and non-virtuous deeds? When he thinks this way, he also thinks: Is it that there are sinful and non-virtuous deeds existing, and I am not creating them? Or is it because there are no sinful and non-virtuous deeds, so I am not creating them? I should fully observe it, thinking this way, generating contemplation and mindfulness, thereby truly thinking, he strives relying on the power of contemplation and mindfulness.
