If it were so, then one should put on great armor for the sake of omniscience. Like this, omniscience is not done, not destroyed, not manifestly assembled, therefore, for that reason, it is not appropriate to put on great armor. Therefore, it should be thought that one has put on armor without armor. Because the agent is not observed, omniscience is not done, not destroyed, not manifestly assembled. Like this, those are completely non-existent, because they are invisible. Thus it is said. Similarly, when one does not cling to the appearance of what is imputed in the case of the suchness of form and the suchness of sound, etc., then it is not in that form either, so it is said. Then, again, the venerable one, for the sake of the stability of my thought, requested the Blessed One, saying: Blessed One, I seek the meaning as the Blessed One has spoken. If asked: From what meaning is it said that form is not bound, not liberated? Some think like this: Like this, the five aggregates with outflows are bound by pervasive bonds, etc. Those are also bound, and are repeatedly bound in samsara by karma and afflictions. Those without outflows will later be liberated, and if they are destroyed at that time, it is thought that they are unmade and undestroyed. Therefore, it is said that form is not bound, not liberated, etc. If bondage and liberation change from existence, like this, form, etc., are completely non-existent, so because they are not existent, how can there be bondage and liberation for those that are not existent? It will not be established. By the power of imputation, bondage and liberation are shown, but it is not so in ultimate truth, this is the concluding remark. Therefore, venerable one, because all form itself does not exist, it is said that form is not bound, not liberated, etc. Like a dream, etc., it is shown that even perfectly established form is not bound, not liberated. Because of solitude, peace, and emptiness, abiding like the sky, it is not appropriate to have bondage and liberation, this is the concluding remark. The rest is easy to understand. Thus, the great armor is firm.

Having been completely accomplished, the abbot Sudhana, holding the words "correctly entering the Mahayana," asked the Blessed One five questions, such as what is the Mahayana of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva. To this, the Blessed One divided "Mahayana" into twenty-one types and explained as follows: namely, Paramita Mahayana, the rope Mahayana of all emptiness, the Mahayana of all Samadhi, the Mahayana of mindfulness, the Mahayana of right abandonment, the Mahayana of miraculous feet, the Mahayana of roots, the Mahayana of powers, the Mahayana of Bodhi branches, the Mahayana of the path, the Mahayana of liberation, the Mahayana of wisdom, the Mahayana of roots, the Mahayana of three Samadhis, the Mahayana of recollection, the Mahayana of five absorptions, the Mahayana of ten powers, the Mahayana of fearlessness, the rope Mahayana of individual correct knowledge, the Mahayana of Buddha's unshared dharmas, and the Mahayana of Dharani gates. Among them, the second, the explanation of the Mahayana of emptiness is: the eye is empty of the eye, because there is no constant dwelling, and there is no destruction. This is to say that the imputational eye is empty of the imputational eye, emptiness is the meaning of non-existence, so the eye has no self-nature of the eye, this is a synonym. If it exists, is it constant and dwelling, or is it impermanent and destructive? Like this, it is not constant and dwelling, and there is no destruction, therefore it is not constant and dwelling, and there is no destruction, so it is non-existence, this is a synonym. Because its self-nature is like that, this is to say that the eye has no self-nature of the eye, that is its self-nature, it is a synonym of essence. Internal and external dharmas are each non-existent, these are the two kinds of emptiness. Internal dharmas grasp external dharmas, and external dharmas become the object of internal dharmas, object
