From the beginning of what is called "learning," up to the ultimate treatise that states, "Shariputra, it should be known that by not focusing on emptiness, one will definitely manifest omniscience," it teaches learning without focusing on all phenomena. Some ask the Blessed One, "Will this illusory person, having studied the Perfection of Wisdom, definitely manifest omniscience? Will they attain omniscience?" From the beginning of "reporting," up to "Blessed One, thus form is like an illusion, feeling, perception, volition, and consciousness are like an illusion. The so-called 'all' and 'is' are the six senses. These are the five aggregates," it teaches learning about what is like an illusion, and so forth. Subhuti, if a Bodhisattva Mahasattva is newly entering the Great Vehicle, and is not skilled in means, and has not relied on a spiritual friend, etc., from this beginning, up to the statement, "Subhuti, this should also be known as an evil friend of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, and having known this, one should completely abandon them," it teaches skillful means. Among these, learning samadhi is also taught in two ways: explaining the name and explaining non-conceptualization. Among these, in terms of explaining the name, the samadhi of self-nature without arising has been taught previously, that is, "Because of the self-nature of all phenomena being without substance, omniscience is also non-dual and indivisible," and so on. The so-called omniscience refers to the state where all phenomena are non-dual. Thus, in all imputed phenomena, the grasper and the grasped are non-dual, existence and non-existence, reality and non-reality, permanence and impermanence, conditioned and unconditioned, dharma and non-dharma, and so on, as well as anything that is permanent and impermanent, happiness and suffering, self and non-self, peace and non-peace, emptiness and non-emptiness, sign and signlessness, aspiration and non-aspiration, and so on.

All those dualistic appearances are mere conceptual constructs, because they do not exist in the all-knowingness. The all-knowingness is called non-dual. Objects created by conceptualization, because there is no duality, are called non-dualizable. By uttering the names of the samādhis, it shows abiding in samādhi, and after that, in order to show abiding in non-conceptual samādhi, therefore, he also does not truly see the samādhi. Saying, "I have entered into samādhi," there is also no becoming arrogant because of that samādhi, and so on, it is said. Also not truly seeing the samādhi, this is because at the time of the perfectly established nature, all dharmas also become just suchness, so this is samādhi. "I have abided equally," and so on, because all conceptual constructs are completely non-existent, therefore, conceptualizing in samādhi, and conceptualizing "I have abided equally," due to the power of time there are three kinds of conceptualizations, and the conceptualization of entering into absorption, and those conceptualizations do not exist. Therefore, it is said that those conceptualizations do not exist in it. For that very reason, the Prajñāpāramitā is also other, the samādhi is also other, and the Bodhisattva is also other, these do not exist, but the Prajñāpāramitā itself is the samādhi. The samādhi itself is the Bodhisattva, it is said, because all dharmas are just suchness, because of the oneness of self-nature, therefore it is said thus. For that very reason, it is said that all dharmas are of the nature of equality. Is it possible to indicate samādhi? This is in a different way, is it possible to speak? This is a synonym, because the Bodhisattva himself is samādhi, thus it appears, so thinking and asking, because the characteristics of samādhi are not different. Venerable Śāriputra, it is not so, it is said. Then, Venerable Śāriputra thought, if the names of the samādhis do not exist, then why are those names spoken? Then he asked, do you have recognition of those samādhis? How do the Śrāvakas

Thus it was asked. Then, because the Venerable Rabjor did not have such conceptualization, he said that there is no apprehension. Then, in order to show the explanation of meditation from other discourses, and in order to show other actions, it was said how it would not become apprehension. Then, those meditations and their actions also have the ground of the nature of complete imputation, but if the characteristics of complete imputation are abandoned, they are not perceived. Therefore, it was said how it is without conceptualization. Then, in order to eliminate one's own thought, it was said that because all phenomena do not exist. Like this, among those who abide without afflictions, it is said to be the most excellent. The so-called affliction refers to conceptualization. Entering into non-conceptualization, which is separated from all conceptualizations, is called entering into non-affliction. Therefore, praise was given to non-conceptualization itself. Having thus shown the training in meditation, in order to show the training in the absence of an object of focus, Shariputra, training in this way is training in the manner of not focusing on the unmixed qualities of the Buddhas, and so on. In order to show the training in the absence of an object of focus, Shariputra, because of being utterly pure, I do not focus on self, and so on, showing that one does not focus on a person. After that, it was shown that one does not focus on phenomena such as aggregates, elements, and sense bases, and it was shown that one does not focus from the stream-enterer onwards up to the Buddha. It is also said of everything, because of being utterly pure, that it is holding onto the cause of ultimate purity, and in order to inquire about its nature, it was asked, "Blessed One, what is purity?" Then, in order to show that the perfectly established, stainless suchness is purity, Shariputra, that which is unborn, unceasing, without complete affliction, without purification, without arising, without an object of focus, and without manifest action, is called purity, thus it was said.
