Everything is like a dream, for those who have become fully realized. What does not change in that way, the opposite of that, is called Suchness, because Suchness exists at all times. All phenomena are like illusions, because they appear to be mistaken. The opposite of that, what is not mistaken, is called Suchness, because it is the nature of not being mistaken. All phenomena are like mirages, because they exist elsewhere but appear elsewhere. The opposite of that, what is not other, is called Suchness, because it never changes into something else at all times. All phenomena are like the moon in water, they are not the nature of that phenomenon, but they appear separately as the nature of that phenomenon. The moon in water is not the moon or what is real, the opposite of that is called the Dharma-nature, because it is the nature of ultimate reality. All phenomena are like a city of gandharvas, because they are meaningless. The opposite of that is called the Dharma-dhatu, because it is the cause of the Buddhas' dharmas and is meaningful. All phenomena are like plantain trees, because they are short-lived. The opposite of that is called the abiding nature of the Dharma, because it is the characteristic of abiding. All phenomena are like eye diseases, because they are of an uncertain nature. The opposite of that is called the faultless nature of the Dharma, because it is of a definite nature. All phenomena are like reflections, because they are transformations of consciousness. The opposite of that is called the ultimate reality, because it is the ultimate meaning. All phenomena are like emanations, because they arise from the activities of the mind. The opposite of that is called the inconceivable realm, because it transcends all objects of the mind. In ultimate reality, everything is a category of perfectly accomplished dharmas. Thus, since there is no increase or decrease to be pointed out in all phenomena, it has been shown that the extremes of superimposition and denigration are completely abandoned. Now, in order to show that there is no name to be pointed out, the Blessed One, in any case, such as, the Bodhisattva, which is designated as a term for the Dharma-nature, is also the aggregates, or the elements, or the sources?

It is also said, "It cannot be expressed in any place," and so on. This shows two aspects. The explanation of "It is not appropriate to express in any place" shows that the collection of phenomena such as names, aggregates, realms, and sources cannot be compared. The explanation of "Anything cannot be expressed" shows that within the nature of phenomena such as virtue and non-virtue, with and without fault, it cannot be compared. The explanation of "It cannot be expressed by anything" shows that although it is completely non-existent, what is known in the world as dreams, illusions, mirages, cities of gandharvas, echoes, optical illusions, images, emanations, and what is known as merely imputed characteristics, such as earth, water, fire, and wind, and what is known as the nature of complete accomplishment, suchness, non-erroneous suchness, non-other suchness, the nature of phenomena, the realm of phenomena, the abiding nature of phenomena, the flawless nature of phenomena, the ultimate reality, and what is known as the nature of bodhisattvas, all perfections, and what is known as the nature of hearers, such as discipline, concentration, wisdom, liberation, the vision of the wisdom of liberation, stream-enterers, once-returners, non-returners, arhats, solitary buddhas, and the phenomena such as stream-entry, bodhisattvas, the phenomena of bodhisattvas, buddhas, and the phenomena of buddhas, are all mentioned by name and explained. Ninth fascicle. Then, in order to summarize the establishment of being free from the two extremes, and in order to show that it will definitely occur, it is explained by the sutra up to the end, "The bodhisattva mahasattva, abiding in the manner of not abiding in the irreversible stage, will realize that he will definitely attain all-knowingness." Thus, after explaining the phenomena of establishing freedom from the two extremes and mentioning the names, in order to show the establishment of non-abiding thereafter, the Blessed One
