He said things like, "Do you think so?" Furthermore, regarding the second aspect, grasping the object that is the basis and dwelling place, do you think there is a Bodhisattva in form? Do you think a Bodhisattva has form? Do you think there is a Bodhisattva in feeling? Do you think a Bodhisattva has feeling? He said things like, "Do you think so?" Form and feeling, etc., and the Bodhisattva are in no way related. In every way, the Bodhisattva is other than them. This is the concluding statement. Regarding the third aspect, grasping, do you think something without form is a Bodhisattva? Do you think something without feeling is a Bodhisattva? He said things like, "Do you think so?" Like this, if this Bodhisattva is analyzed, whether it is one, different, an object that is a basis and dwelling place, or an object without these, it cannot be analyzed. Therefore, thinking that the Bodhisattva itself does not exist, he said, "Bhagavan, it is not so." Among those who claim to be the self, some think that what is seen is all objects. Therefore, sentient beings regard the nature of the senses, such as the eyes, as sentient beings, and they think of the nature of form as sentient beings, thinking, "The seer is me." Therefore, he said things like, "Is form a Bodhisattva?" Similarly, like cowherds and others, they think that the eater is a sentient being, grasping the nature of feeling, thinking, "The feeler is me." Therefore, he said, "Is feeling a Bodhisattva?" Similarly, like naked ascetics and others, they think that the doer is a sentient being, grasping the nature of perception and formation, thinking, "The doer is me." Therefore, he said, "Is perception a Bodhisattva? Are formations Bodhisattvas?" Similarly, like Vedic proponents and others, they think that the knower is me, grasping the nature of consciousness, thinking, "The knower is me." Therefore, he said, "Is consciousness a Bodhisattva?"
