Moreover, these are abandoned by the wisdom of the path of the Arhat. Therefore, it is said to be the complete exhaustion of all bonds in existence. The term "mind completely liberated by correct wisdom" means that "wisdom" refers to complete knowledge and realization, that is, the mind is completely liberated by correct realization. Or, "liberation" here refers to faith. Through correct understanding, such as faith in the qualities of the Three Jewels and the teachings that possess the three vehicles, as well as faith in the Four Noble Truths and the dharmas that are in accordance with the aspects of enlightenment, this is called "mind completely liberated." Or, the mind is completely liberated by the eight liberations, which is its synonym. The term "reached the supreme shore by the power of all minds" means that one has attained supreme and complete power over all samadhis. Or, one has obtained mastery over the samadhi, abiding, arising, subsiding, and abandonment of cessation and concentration, that is, wherever one wishes, whenever one wishes, for as long as one wishes, in accordance with reason, in accordance with reason and unreason, entering, returning, gathering limbs, gathering objects, gathering limbs and objects, uniting limbs, uniting objects, uniting limbs and objects, increasing one, increasing two, not increasing two, and so on, gradually abiding in the nine successive samadhis, having attained mastery over these and reached the other shore, this is called "reached the supreme shore by the power of the minds of all beings." All are Arhats. Why? Because of the exhaustion of outflows. The exhaustion of outflows is because of the absence of afflictions. The absence of afflictions is because of having power. Having power is because the mind is completely liberated. The mind is completely liberated because wisdom is completely liberated. Wisdom is completely liberated because of knowing. Knowing is because of the elephant. The elephant is because of having done what has to be done. Having done what has to be done is because of having done what can be done.

Having done what needs to be done is for the sake of abandoning burdens. Abandoning burdens is for the sake of attaining one's own benefit. Attaining one's own benefit is for the sake of completely exhausting all the bonds of samsara. Completely exhausting all the bonds of samsara is for the sake of the mind being completely liberated by correct knowledge. The mind being completely liberated by correct knowledge is for the sake of reaching the other shore of the power of all sentient beings, and the explanation of these qualities should be combined. Having thus taught the lesser bhikshus, the retinue of bhikshunis, upasakas, and upasikas is taught by the phrase "about five hundred bhikshunis," and so on. The term "seeing the Dharma" means directly realizing nirvana. This indicates that upasakas and upasikas are learners. Now, the lesser Bodhisattvas are taught. The phrase "immeasurable, countless Bodhisattva Mahasattvas" is because the Bodhisattvas are assembled from all other world realms, so the number is not explicitly stated. The qualities of these Bodhisattvas are taught by the phrase "having obtained dharani," and so on. There are five types of Bodhisattvas: those with pure superior intention, those who abide in the absence of signs with effort, those who abide in the absence of signs with spontaneous accomplishment, those who have entered into definite conduct, and those who are bound by one lifetime. These belong here. Those who abide on the first ground are those with pure superior intention. Up to the seventh ground are those who abide in the absence of signs with effort. The eighth ground is those who abide in the absence of signs with spontaneous accomplishment. From then until the tenth ground are those who have entered into definite conduct. Beyond that are those who are bound by one lifetime. Among these, the term "having obtained dharani" means that because it holds, it is called dharani. There are also four types of dharani: the dharani that is the cause for Bodhisattvas to obtain patience, the dharani of secret mantras, the dharani of Dharma, and the dharani of meaning. Among these, what is the dharani that is the cause for Bodhisattvas to obtain patience? It is said that Bodhisattvas with complete previous causes, on the ground of conduct through faith,
