So! In short, there are four kinds of timidity: timidity due to suffering, timidity due to fear, timidity due to worldly dharmas, and timidity due to ignorance. Because these timidities are absent, one obtains happiness, obtains fearlessness, obtains intrepidity, and obtains relief, in that order. Among them, because there is no sorrow, lamentation, suffering, and discomfort, there is no timidity of suffering because there is no sorrow. Because there is no self-reproach, no reproach by others, no evil destinies and harm, no punishment by penalty, no death sentence, and no fear of death, there is no timidity of fear. Because there is no gain and no loss, no fame and no infamy, no praise and no blame, no affliction of happiness and suffering, there is no timidity due to worldly dharmas. Because there is no ignorance, no knowledge of doubt, and no obstruction by wrong views, there is no timidity of ignorance. Therefore, because there is no timidity, it is called a knower. Called a great elephant, it is a synonym for being called a great lord, some possess three kinds of reasoning, some obtain individual correct knowledge, some obtain six kinds of supernormal powers. Some possess knowledge and grammar, some obtain one place, because they obtain the Dharma of special excellence, they are called great elephants. Doing what has been done, doing what is being done, refers to the complete perfection of the display, for definite things it is called doing. For things in the east it is called doing. Among them, liberation from all suffering through the complete perfection of discipline, meditation, and wisdom is the main thing to do, because these are completely perfected it is called doing what has been done. Living with few desires, living with contentment, living with the limbs of training, living with correct satisfaction, etc., the complete perfection of the distinctions of living, because it is related to self-pleasure it is called doing, because these are completely perfected it is called doing what has been done. Therefore, doing what has been done, doing what is being done, refers to the complete perfection of all aspects of accomplishment.

This shows that. Regarding "abandoning the burden," there are four kinds of burdens: the burden of the aggregates, the burden of afflictions, the burden of vows, and the burden of diligence. The burden is for the sake of abandoning, eliminating, practicing, and perfecting, in that order. Therefore, by completely understanding suffering, one abandons the burden of the aggregates. By eliminating the origin, one abandons the burden of afflictions. By practicing the path, one abandons the burden of vows. By realizing cessation, one abandons the burden of diligence. Therefore, by abandoning the burden of the aggregates, one obtains the bliss of no aggregates. By abandoning the burden of afflictions, one obtains the bliss of liberation. By perfecting the burden of vows, one obtains the bliss of complete enlightenment. By perfecting the burden of diligence, one obtains the bliss of near pacification. Therefore, by "abandoning the burden," it shows that one obtains the bliss of abandoning the burden. Regarding "obtaining one's own benefit," obtaining one's own benefit is of two kinds: abandoning harm and obtaining benefit. Abandoning ignorance, thereby abandoning all afflictive obscurations, is called abandoning harm. Generating wisdom, thereby obtaining nirvana, is called obtaining benefit. Regarding "completely exhausting the connections to existence," the connections that cause birth in existence are the connections to existence. The connections to existence are those that connect or bind to existence or to beings. Among these nine connections, the connection of views, the connection of clinging to extremes, and the connection of doubt are abandoned by the undefiled correct view. The connection of jealousy, the connection of stinginess, the three connections of anger, and one part of the connection of attachment to existence, which belongs to the realm of desire, are abandoned by obtaining the absorption in undefiled concentration. The connection of pride, the connection of ignorance, and the connection of attachmen
