There is not. Even if it becomes numerous, it will not increase, because for those, there is not even a little bit of complete affliction or complete purification. Similarly, the nature of what is completely conceived is also because it does not exist at all, so there is no birth or cessation, no increase or decrease, no complete affliction or complete purification. Enlightenment is also the nature of complete accomplishment, which is extremely tranquil, beyond all distinctions, and like the sky, so there is no birth or cessation. There is also no increase or decrease. Because of its extremely pure nature, there is also no complete affliction. Because of its self-purifying nature, there is also no complete purification. Why? Because it is shown by "Form is like an illusion, feeling is like an illusion," etc., which is also shown in two ways. Illusion does not exist, and the consciousness that grasps illusion does not exist. Illusion is just a name, it does not exist in a place, nor does it exist in a direction, because illusion is completely conceived, so it is shown to be non-existent. Seeing illusion is inverted, because "non-existent" shows that consciousness is non-existent. Among them, "does not dwell in a place" shows that illusion is not the nature of colored phenomena, because all colored phenomena do not dwell in a place. "Does not dwell in a direction" shows that it is not the nature of formless phenomena, because the nature of formless phenomena, such as consciousness, although it does not dwell in a place, it can be established as existing near the direction of the eye, etc., so it exists in a direction. "Inverted" shows that it is not true. "Non-existent" shows the nature of non-existence. Separation from self-nature shows non-self-nature. A Bodhisattva is like an illusion, discriminating separately, just like this, when a Bodhisattva, a great being, practices like this in the Prajnaparamita, he does not truly see birth in any dharma, etc. Among them, for what is completely conceived, there is neither birth nor cessation, appearance and non-

It is merely appearance. In other's power, there is neither increase nor decrease, it is merely completely imputed. In the perfectly established, there is neither complete affliction nor complete purification, it is merely the nature of being completely pure by nature. Thus, even though all phenomena have become without inherent existence, in order to dispel doubts, why is that? It is said, "Name is artificial," and so on. Forms, feelings, thoughts, and so on, the names and signs of the aggregates and so on, those are artificial, they are not inherently existent. Therefore, one should know that all phenomena are without inherent existence, because inherent existence is not artificial. Artificiality itself is shown by "those dependent arising phenomena are conceptual," and so on. Those phenomena that rely on the cause of conceptualization and the condition of conceptualization, by conceptualizing them in that way, are called dependent arising. That is its definition. This will show this meaning: if it depends on others, then those phenomena arise from the power of others, not from their own power. How can that become inherent existence? Therefore, because there is no self-entity, it has become the entity of others. Therefore, all phenomena are established as without inherent existence. Therefore, the meaning of without inherent existence is the meaning of dependent arising. After that, again, from the cause of the name of complete imputation arises the expression of the name. By the power of the expression of the name, it will appear to be attached in that way. By the power of appearing to be attached in that way, again, conceptualization will arise on the cause of the name. By its power, again, the expression of the name will arise. By the power of the expression of the name, again, appearance of attachment will arise. In order to show that this kind of sequence arises, it is said, "After the name that is suddenly established, add the expression," and so on. Because it is not inherent existence, but relies on the sudden and is established, therefore, with the sign of another name, add the expression and manifestly express it, this shows the expression of the name. Also, in whatever way the expression is added, in that way attachment appears, this explains that it is the cause of the appearance of attachment.
