Since there is nothing extremely minute, it is impossible to fully enjoy the five objects of desire. However, our Bodhisattva is skilled in the objects of gathering, and in order to gather beings with common interests, even for each of the twenty-four thousand women, he emanated as many bodies as there were women, making them all happy. Therefore, among the twenty-four thousand women such as Satsom, and the nine thousand dancing girls, and their many attendants, and those who showed old age, sickness, and death, and the gods and Brahma, there was no one who was not matured by the three vehicles. Therefore, it is precisely for the sake of maturing beings that the enjoyment of desire is shown. As the Bodhisattva thinks: The faults of desires that I know are boundless, accompanied by death and resentment, the root of suffering, the root of sorrow, destructive, like poison and illusion wheels, like burning flames, like the edge of a sword. I have no attachment or desire for the merits of desire. It is not suitable for me to live in a woman's house. I should go to the edge of the forest, not speak, and through the gate of meditation samadhi, calm my mind. It is like saying this. Therefore, after observing in this way, he manifested skillfully, and for the sake of maturing beings, he generated great compassion. At that time, he spoke this verse: The lotus grows in the mud, and receives the king's offerings from among the people. When the Bodhisattva

Is a Bodhisattva Mahasattva, who, due to necessity, demonstrates the manner of dwelling in the womb. The second chapter is on generating the mind of enlightenment. The term 'mind' here refers to the manifestation of desire. The chapter on generating the mind of enlightenment is so named because it shows the arising of the desire to manifest all the Dharmas of Bodhisattvas and all the Dharmas of the Buddhas. Sixth fascicle. Thus, as to why one should strive, here the striving of learning is shown. Now, as to how one should strive, Shariputra, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, even having become a Bodhisattva, one should not truly see a Bodhisattva. One should not truly see many Bodhisattvas. One should not truly see enlightenment. One should not truly see the Perfection of Wisdom. One should not truly see practice. One should not truly see non-practice. Practicing is also practicing, non-practicing is also non-practicing, one should not truly see it. Neither practicing nor non-practicing, one should not truly see it. One should not truly see form. Similarly, feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness, one should not truly see them, and so on. This scripture shows the striving of what is practiced here. Shariputra asked the Blessed One, 'How should a Bodhisattva practice the Perfection of Wisdom?' This was asked in the manner of three Dharmas combined with an object of focus and combined with characteristics, namely, the Bodhisattva, the Perfection of Wisdom, and the practice thereof. Then, in order to eliminate those objects of focus, the Blessed One showed the three aspects of a Bodhisattva's non-focus, the non-focus of the Perfection of Wisdom, and the four aspects of the non-focus of practice, thereby teaching the emptiness of non-focus. The three non-focuses of a Bodhisattva are: non-focus on sentient beings, non-focus on name, and non-focus on enlightenment. Even having become a Bodhisattva,

Because there is a Bodhisattva of Dharma-nature, this avoids the extreme of slander. The so-called "not truly seeing a Bodhisattva" is because a Bodhisattva is unobtainable. The so-called "not truly seeing a name" is because it is of the nature of complete imputation. The so-called "not truly seeing enlightenment" is because, apart from transformation, there is no dharma of the name called enlightenment. The so-called "not truly seeing the Perfection of Wisdom" is because, apart from the complete purity of the realm of Dharma, there is no dharma of the name called Perfection of Wisdom. The so-called "action" is not truly seen because all dharmas are without action. The so-called "non-action" is not truly seen because, even though there is no action, the realm of Dharma still needs to be purified. The so-called "acting and not acting" is not truly seen because combining the two does not truly see, as both faults would appear simultaneously. The so-called "neither acting nor not acting" is not truly seen because, although it is said to be non-dual, the aspect of non-duality is also without aspect, so it is not truly seen. Thus, previously, the absence of a Bodhisattva was shown through the emptiness of the person, and now, through the absence of self of phenomena, it is shown that form is not truly seen, and that feeling, etc., are also not truly seen. Therefore, the aspects of the five aggregates are also absent. Having shown that the conceptualization of action is unobtainable in this way, why is that? This is to show the reason with "because". In order to show that the name of the Bodhisattva, etc., is unobtainable, and that its emptiness is obtainable. The name of the Bodhisattva is empty of the nature of the name, but not empty of emptiness, and so on. Like this, the name called Bodhisattva is completely imputed, and it is the nature of complete imputation.
