So. That which has no object to be abandoned is called non-abandonment. That which is where the skandhas cease is called non-abandonment, thinking that it is cessation. Furthermore, the Bodhisattva thus ascertains: The dharma called non-abandonment should not exist at all. That which has no skandhas is called non-abandonment, but that which has no skandhas is also the nirvana without the residue of skandhas, which is the nature of the absence of all things, so it cannot be established as any self-nature or transformed into another dharma. Therefore, the term "absence of things" refers to nirvana, cessation, the complete pacification of all conditioned things, non-abandonment, and other synonyms. If there is no nirvana, why do conditioned things not arise? Therefore, if it is said that nirvana is the antidote to the future arising of conditioned things, this is also not reasonable, as the nirvana of conditioned things is impossible in any way. If conditioned things were to enter nirvana, would it be the permanent or the impermanent that enters nirvana? If it is said that something permanent enters nirvana, this is also not reasonable, because the permanent is unchanging at all times, and therefore it does not need nirvana. If it is said that something enters nirvana, then because it is impermanent, it does not arise after destruction, and nirvana has nothing to do with the nature of non-arising. If it is said that other conditioned things act as an antidote to the arising of its cause, this is also not the case, because the fire of the transcendent path burns the seeds of the tree of afflictions, which is also the nature of non-arising. That which does not arise by nature is called nirvana. In the doctrine of the Hearers, if there is no dharma that is transformed into something else called nirvana, then what need is there to consider the doctrine of emptiness? This is called non-abandonment emptiness. Furthermore, the Bodhisattva thinks thus: If all dharmas are empty, then the behavior of desire and so on, which has become the nature of sentient beings, and

Due to the influence of intention, latent tendencies, faith, realms, lineage, etc., being able to know the various differences of intention and latent tendencies, knowing the various differences of faith, knowing the various differences of realms, etc., those dharmas that allow the Buddha's teachings to enter are not reasonable. Therefore, it is thought that the dharmas of inherent nature exist in the ultimate sense. Furthermore, it is determined as follows: those dharmas should not be said to be other dharmas, but rather those dharmas are the state differences in the continuum of sentient beings, and those state differences cannot be established as being other than or not other than sentient beings. Therefore, it is thought that there are no such dharmas that have become other dharmas, and this is called emptiness of inherent nature. Furthermore, the Bodhisattva thinks like this: if all dharmas do not exist, then how can the dharmas of impermanence, suffering, and selflessness, etc., of those dharmas exist? Without a dharma, a dharma nature cannot exist. For example, all conditioned dharmas are impermanent, all contaminated dharmas are suffering, and all dharmas are selfless. Therefore, if one can truly see these as they are, one can obtain right view and be liberated from all the sufferings of samsara. Furthermore, it is determined as follows: the dharma of impermanence cannot become the dharma of ultimate truth. How can the dharma of ultimate truth be impermanent, and how can there be arising and ceasing? The dharma of change and transformation cannot be called ultimate truth. What is truth and what is non-reversed, that is their ultimate truth nature. Therefore, ultimate truth does not have change. Similarly, if the dharma that has become suffering becomes the ultimate truth, then suffering will become permanent. If that is the case, permanent suffering will always exist, so neither worldly nor transcendental happiness will arise. Similarly, if the dharma called selflessness exists in the ultimate truth, then all dharmas will have selflessness
