If someone asks: When is the perfection of wisdom fully accomplished? The answer is: When the perfection of wisdom is called omniscience and the Great Vehicle, then there is no fault. When the perfection of wisdom is called the non-conceptual wisdom of the perfection of wisdom, then it is also thought that there is no dharma of the perfection of wisdom in the ultimate sense. The perfection of wisdom is the nature of non-conceptuality, and it abides in the non-conceptual wisdom of the perfection of wisdom. At that time, the three realms and so on are merely suchness. In this way, the wisdom born from the appearance of conventional truth is realized on the path of application. Although it is the nature of conceptualization, it is called the perfection of wisdom because it is completely grasped by non-conceptual wisdom. Therefore, abiding in the perfection of wisdom and contemplating the practice of the perfection of wisdom, there is no fault. Here, it should also be understood that because there is no attachment to the wise, wisdom, and perverse wisdom, the three spheres are completely purified. After that, Shariputra abides in the perfection of wisdom and perfects the four mindfulnesses and so on, thereby showing the conduct of the path of enlightenment. If someone asks: Is it only appropriate for practitioners of the Hearer and Solitary Buddha vehicles to engage in the practice of the path of enlightenment, and not for Bodhisattvas, because they are inclined towards nirvana? Then there is no fault in this. Because Bodhisattvas wish to fully understand all dharmas in all aspects and are committed to not clinging to all dharmas, is the dharma of enlightenment ultimately existent or non-existent? It is reasonable for them to fully seek these. If someone asks: If that is the case, then the practice of the path of enlightenment will lead to the direct realization of nirvana. Therefore, will Bodhisattvas attain from the stream-enterer to the Arhat? The answer is: There is no fault in this, because it can be accomplished by the power of previous efforts. Also, those who see the faults in samsara

Those who arise with aversion from (samsara), and who see nirvana as a virtue, thereby pursuing and practicing nirvana, due to the power of past efforts, through the practice of the four mindfulnesses, will attain nirvana without effort. And those Bodhisattvas, who have equanimity towards samsara and nirvana, and who are dedicated to benefiting and bringing happiness to all sentient beings, because benefiting sentient beings is the root, therefore they see samsara as having virtues like nirvana, and because it is not a place to benefit sentient beings, they see nirvana as being unfavorable like samsara, and because it is merely the nature of phenomena, they see both as being equal, and because they can distinguish the nature of non-appearance, they practice the aspects of enlightenment. They merely directly realize the aspects of enlightenment, and do not approach (the aspects of enlightenment) in order to directly realize the fruit of stream-entry, etc., or to directly realize nirvana, but it is called completely familiarizing themselves with it. Just as below, it will also be explained from the exposition of abiding in the aspects of enlightenment, "Now is the time to become completely familiar, not the time to directly realize," etc., the wisdom of complete familiarity. The four mindfulnesses refer to the four ways of following after the body, feelings, mind, and phenomena, and the four aspects, which are called the four mindfulnesses. First, completely understand, and then afterwards, seek in accordance with reality, for the body, feelings, mind, and phenomena, and the two, mindfulness and wisdom, that focus on them, and the co-emergent mental factors that correspond to them, all comprehended as the nature of being completely imputed, thereby completely understanding that they are not the true meaning. Because the inexpressible ultimate truth is not the object of the two, mindfulness and wisdom, therefore, realizing that the nature of the four mindfulnesses is not ultimately existent, abiding in the Perfection of Wisdom, thereby perfecting the four mindfulnesses.
