The so-called "able" is because, in terms of ultimate truth, it is non-conceptual. That Dharma is non-conceptual and inexpressible, therefore it is inexpressible. Thus, name and form are unborn, unceasing, unpolluted, and unpurified. What is meant by this is that among formless Dharmas and form Dharmas, the mention of name and form is the way of conventional truth. In terms of ultimate truth, suchness is non-conceptual because it is perfectly established. Because it is inexpressible, it is unspeakable. Because it is unconditioned, it is unborn. Because it is unborn, it is unceasing. Because it is empty of inherent existence, it is unpolluted. Because it is inherently pure, it is unpurified. This is the emptiness that transcends extremes, and the emptiness that is without beginning or end. This shows that non-conceptual things themselves proclaim two kinds of emptiness. Subhuti asked: "Bhagavan, if one grasps conventional truth and establishes the fruits," and so on, asking: "If one does not truly establish the fruits, then why are the fruits of stream-enterer, etc., not also established for ordinary beings, etc.?" Then, the Bhagavan said: "Subhuti, do ordinary beings know conventional truth or ultimate truth?" and so on, instructing: "Even if the fruits are not established, because the imputed things are completely known, the fruits of stream-enterer, etc., of the imputed can be established. Because ordinary beings do not completely know these, they also do not cultivate the path. Therefore, the fruits should not be established for them. For the noble ones, because there is knowledge, the path and non-path, as well as the fruits, should be established for them." The Venerable Subhuti asked: "Bhagavan, is it because of cultivating the path that the fruit arises?"

Like "Rama" and so on, will the cause of cultivating the path produce fruit? Will one obtain fruit? Thus he asked. If that were the case, then that would become the ultimate truth. Then, the Blessed One said: Subhuti, that is not so. Cultivating the path will not produce fruit. One will not obtain fruit. This is because both the path and the fruit are both completely imputed, so it is negated. Subhuti, not cultivating the path will also not obtain fruit, this is even though it is completely imputed, it is also showing certainty. The path also cannot obtain fruit. Not the path also cannot obtain it. It is also not on the path, this is showing that the Dharma has become definite. In the realm of Dharma, it is not the case to establish the fruit in the manner of division, this is saying that dividing it into parts in the realm of Dharma like that, there is no ultimate truth. Blessed One, if there is no division for the realms of conditioned and unconditioned, etc., the elder asked thus: Why are abandonment, path, and fruit divided into categories and established? Then, the Blessed One said: Subhuti, what is the fruit of stream-entry, etc., thus he taught: For those, there is no order of completely knowing and thoroughly realizing in the ultimate truth. Like this, those such as the fruit of stream-entry are unconditioned, for those there is no sequential difference. Therefore, when thoroughly realizing that all of those are emptiness, there is no division. Blessed One, how can one thoroughly realize the Dharma nature of all phenomena? This is a synonym for if there is no thorough realization of the division of the ultimate truth. Blessed One, what is the cultivation of the illusory path like? This is asking for an illusion as an example. Subhuti, what does the cultivation of the path rely on, etc., this is establishing the example of illusion. Blessed One, how can a Bodhisattva Mahasattva thoroughly realize that all phenomena are without substance? This is for the non-existent
