For example, when the moon appears in the sky, the moon in the water also appears, and when it does not appear, the moon in the water also does not appear. However, in the nature of things, the moon in the water is nothing. Similarly, all dharmas are like this; if the habit of unreal imputation arises, it will appear, and if it does not arise, it will not appear. Therefore, all dharmas are without arising and without ceasing. If asked: How do worldly conventions arise? For example, in a dream, eating, drinking, wearing, giving, receiving, happiness, suffering, and so on appear, but they are not found in ultimate truth. Similarly, all conventions are like that. If asked: How do collections of nouns and collections of words change? For example, there is no substance of sound in a valley, but sound can be heard from mountains and silent canyons. Similarly, the use of words is like that. If asked: How do causes and conditions arise? For example, due to weakened senses, tangled hair appears even though it is not actually tangled; due to differences in location, cities of gandharvas and so on appear; due to differences in meditation, signs of cessation and so on appear; and due to differences in the thoughts of minds oppressed by desire, sorrow, fear, and so on, various forms and so on appear separately. These arise from causes, but they are not truly existent. Similarly, all dharmas arise from causes, but they are not truly existent. If it is already determined that they do not exist, then how can they be like causes, just as a son arises from a father, and a fruit arises from the seed of a mango tree and so on? For example, from the appearance of causes such as a face, similar images can be observed in mirrors and so on, but they are not truly existent. Similarly, all dharmas are like that. If asked: How does action arise? For example, for emanations, bodily actions such as walking and coming, and verbal actions, appear in various ways, but they are not truly existent. Similarly, this should be applied to all dharmas. Furthermore, there are eight characteristics: the characteristic of emptiness, the characteristic of signlessness, the characteristic of wishlessness, the characteristic of selflessness, the characteristic of dependent arising, the characteristic of illusion, and the characteristic of imputation.

The nature of Other-powered is: In it, illusory elephants, etc., do not exist, it is emptiness. Mistaking mirages, etc., for water, etc., is signlessness. The moon in water does not exist anywhere, it is wishlessness. Dreams are without inherent existence. Echoes arise from the conditions of the sky, mountains, caves, etc. Optical illusions appear from non-existence. Reflections only abide in the face. Just as it appears to abide in an external mirror, similarly, in the thoroughly conceptualized, it appears from consciousness as if abiding externally. Other-powered arises from other conditions, for example, emanations arise from the power of the emanator, and should be combined in this way. Understanding the minds, behaviors, and intentions of all sentient beings, as well as subtle wisdom, is called a wise person. This is the homogenous cause of the Perfection of Wisdom, which gives rise to the Samadhi called 'Following the Understanding of the Minds and Behaviors of All Sentient Beings' and 'Entering the Realm of Dharma'. Among them, the former Samadhi gathers all sentient beings in all realms of the world, and however many sentient beings are gathered, they all become one whole. Their minds, behaviors, and intentions are different and diverse, and all are understood by one wisdom in a single instant. After understanding, the methods of taming them are also understood in a single instant, and they are also practiced accordingly. Secondly, having obtained the Samadhi of Entering the Realm of Dharma, one can enter the subtle wisdom of the Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Buddhas in many ways, as follows: Wisdom that enters subtle behavior; wisdom that enters subtle death and birth; wisdom that enters subtle birth; wisdom that enters subtle transformation; wisdom that enters subtle manifestation; wisdom that enters subtle perfect enlightenment; wisdom that enters subtle turning of the wheel of Dharma; wisdom that enters subtle blessing of the lifespan; entering complete Nirvana.
