After making a profound request with "Yes," the Blessed One explained non-binding and non-liberation, explained perfect purity, explained universal boundlessness, and explained attachment and non-attachment, thus opening the chapter of four explanations. Among them, the so-called "Subhuti, form is neither bound nor liberated" refers to the fact that in the state of non-discriminating wisdom paramita, whatever appears as the form of the nature of reality that is perfectly established, in the state of samsara, until that time, it will not be bound by all the bonds of karma, afflictions, and maturation, therefore it is called "not bound." Later, in the state of perfect establishment, because there is no liberation, it is called "not liberated." Only the completely imputed is called bondage and liberation, but for the form of the nature of reality, which is like the sky, never stained in any way, and unchanging, it is not so. Therefore, it is said that "the self-nature of form without substance is form," that is, the nature of form without substance of the completely imputed is the synonym for the form of the nature of reality. Similarly, all dharmas up to all-knowingness should also be applied in this way. Furthermore, in order to clarify this non-binding and non-liberation, it is explained in conjunction with the three times. "Subhuti, the past extreme of form is neither bound nor liberated" refers to the fact that the impure state with defilements of the form of the nature of reality in samsara is called the past extreme. The present state of purity and impurity is called the present arising. The future state of purity is called the future extreme. By saying "the self-nature of the past extreme without substance is form," it shows that the nature that abides without changing in the three times is suchness, thus indicating that the nature of reality is not a nature liberated from time. In this way, by explaining non-binding and non-liberation, it shows that samsara and nirvana have no substance, and in order to show that there is no complete affliction and complete purification, it begins to explain perfect purity. "Whatever form is perfectly pure, that is the fruit of perfect purity" refers to the fact that for dharmas such as form up to the ultimate all-knowingness, because there is no bondage, there is no complete affliction.

Because there is no affliction, the essence is naturally pure. Because the essence is naturally pure, there are no purifying dharmas either. Since it is naturally pure, ultimately it does not do anything to purify the dharmas. Therefore, universal affliction and non-discrimination of purification are also discriminated by children, and are not fully established. Thus, after showing that it is difficult to believe in one way, it is also shown that it is difficult to believe because of purity. Among them, what is form purity is the same as fruit purity, which refers to the result of the purifying dharmas such as paramitas and bodhipakshika, called purity, and there is nothing else. Whatever is the form of dharmata is fully established, becomes the essence of the self, always exists, is pure, and that is the word for the purity that becomes the fruit. Similarly, all dharmas should also be combined. Like this, after showing the essence of purity, then showing that the purity of all dharmas is also the nature of oneness, not otherness. What is form purity is the same as fruit purity. What is fruit purity is the same as prajnaparamita purity. What is prajnaparamita purity is the same as form purity, in which the state of form's dharmata is called form purity. Nirvana is called the true state called fruit purity. The state of dharmakaya is called prajnaparamita purity. Among them, what is the tathata of form purity is the same as fruit purity, which is liberation. What is liberation is the same as prajnaparamita purity, which is dharmakaya. What is dharmakaya is the same as form purity, called the word tathata. Therefore, tathata and liberation and dharmakaya are ultimately not different, they are one. Similarly, all the way to all-knowing purity should also be combined.
