This is the concluding remark. After that, it shows the explanation of increasing much merit, and mainly shows the meaning. Regarding this, the meaning of the Prajñāpāramitā is like this: Prajñāpāramitā is not viewed in a dualistic way. It is not viewed in a non-dualistic way, which is called non-conceptual Prajñāpāramitā, because for all dharmas, it is free from conceptualization, so if even saying it is the nature of non-duality is not conceptualized, what need is there to mention saying it is the nature of duality? Therefore, the Prajñāpāramitā is neither viewed in a dualistic way nor viewed in a non-dualistic way, this is the concluding remark. Among them, "not a sign, not without a sign" and so on, shows that in fourteen situations there are no fourteen kinds of conceptualizations: object, the ripening of karma, detailed distinction of knowable things, change of state, clinging to the sole meaning, jumping from one ground to another, combining with other grounds, attention, abandonment, complete understanding, manifesting the nature of reality, practicing suchness, and nirvana. Among them, when clinging to an object, one does not cling to all the imputed signs of form and so on, and because there is no conceptualization of "without a sign," it is said, "not a sign, not without a sign." Similarly, at the time of karma, there is no conceptualization of taking and abandoning for the sake of existence; at the time of ripening, there is no conceptualization of abandoning among beings, so it is said, "not taking, not abandoning." Similarly, when distinguishing knowable dharmas in detail, because there is no defamation of existing entities, there is no decrease; because there is no superimposition on non-existing entities, there is no increase, therefore it is said, "not decreasing, not increasing." Similarly, at the time of the state of ordinary beings, because the Tathāgatagarbha is naturally completely pure, there are no defilements; at the time of the change of state, because like space, there is no previously non-existent purification, it is said, "not all defilements, not purification."
