Without arising and without ceasing, what is without arising and without ceasing, there is also no change in that. It is said that the nature of phenomena such as form is emptiness itself. Emptiness is the nature of all phenomena. What is empty by nature, it is said that there is no arising and no ceasing, that is, for those who have completely accomplished the nature of emptiness, there is no arising and no cessation. Because there are no two, there is also no change and aging. Thus, because there is no arising, ceasing, and changing by nature, whatever form, etc., that is conceived and manifestly established with arising, ceasing, and changing, is not manifestly established in the ultimate sense, and therefore, whatever is not manifestly established is not form, and so on, whatever is not manifestly established is not consciousness, and so on. In the tenth sentence, whatever is not manifestly established is the Prajnaparamita. Whatever is the Prajnaparamita is not manifestly established. The word "not manifestly established" refers to suchness, which refers to emptiness. The word Prajnaparamita also refers to suchness. Therefore, there is no difference between what is not manifestly established and the Prajnaparamita. Therefore, how can a Bodhisattva, whose nature is not established, teach and follow the Prajnaparamita with the nature of not being manifestly established? This means how to teach emptiness with emptiness. In the eleventh sentence, it is not right to think that what is not manifestly established is one thing and the Bodhisattva is another, which shows that the Bodhisattva is the nature of emptiness. What is not manifestly established and form are not two, which is shown by grasping the form of Dharma nature. In the twelfth sentence, if one can separately examine all phenomena as being like illusions, mirages, etc., then one will neither be immersed in nor afraid of anything.

It is a term called "Thus." Seventeenth Chapter. Thus, having temporarily shown the non-conceptual attention to non-discrimination, thereafter, the fruit of those attentions is shown. At that time, regarding this called form, one does not cling to form, does not grasp, does not dwell, does not manifestly adhere, nor does one bind, which is to say five sentences are spoken to show the reasoning of clinging. First, one does not cling with perception. After that, one does not grasp with mind. After that, one does not establish with wisdom. After that, one does not manifestly adhere with view. After that, one does not bind others with words. Why is that? World-Honored One, thus form is unborn, whatever is the unborn of form, that is form. Thus, form and the unborn are not two, they cannot be made two. Why is that? World-Honored One, thus it is said that the unborn is not one, not many. The unborn of form is the term for the unborn of the nature of phenomena. Whatever is the unborn of form, that is not form, which means that the unborn of the nature of phenomena, which is suchness, is not the nature of the imputational form. Thus, form and the unborn are not two, they cannot be made two, what does this show? In that, the words "form is unborn" show the nature of the perfectly established unborn. Whatever is the unborn of form, that is not form, this shows that there is no imputational characteristic in the unborn, thus the form of the nature of phenomena is the nature of the unborn, and the unborn is also the nature of the nature of phenomena, therefore form and the unborn are the same, not different, is the term. The unborn is not one, not many, the unborn is suchness, in that there is no distinction of numbers such as one or two or three, therefore there is no distinction in the unborn, so in the perfectly established time, form and so on.

All of these will also transform into a single nature, that is its definition. Therefore, the so-called "form's unborn is not form," refers to the dharma nature of form's unborn, which is not the self-nature of the imputed form, that is its definition. World-Honored One, in this way, suchness is unborn, the so-called unborn of suchness is not suchness. In this way, suchness and unborn are inseparable and indivisible, which refers to taking suchness with defilements and without defilements and combining them. World-Honored One, in this way, form is impermanent, the so-called decay of form is not form. In this way, form and decay are inseparable and indivisible. What is the reason for this? World-Honored One, in this way, decay is neither one nor many, therefore, the so-called decay of form is not form, because the meaning of "non-existence" appears in it, which is the meaning of impermanence. The so-called form is impermanent is the definition of formlessness. The so-called decay of form is not form, refers to in this way, in formlessness, the appearance of imputation changes, therefore it is called decay, the so-called decay of imputed form is not the dharma nature of form. In this way, form and decay are inseparable and indivisible, which refers to both form and decay being imputed, because there is no existence, therefore it is the definition of being only one. World-Honored One, in this way, decay is neither one nor many, which refers to decay not being existent, like the illusory form, there is no difference in number in the ultimate truth. Therefore, all imputed self-natures are the same in the self-nature of non-substantiality. Therefore, the so-called decay of form is not form, refers to the decay of imputed form not being the self-nature of the dharma nature of form, that is its definition. World-Honored One, suchness is impermanent, what is the so-called decay of suchness?
