之所以称作“远离”,是因为远离了烦恼的烦恼和分别念的烦恼。之所以说“不观察果”,是因为在果的诸法中不观察到果的相状。之所以说“不观察蕴”,是因为没有烦恼、业和异熟的蕴。之所以说“不观察衰老”,是因为没有从存在转变为其他状态的衰老之相。之所以说“不观察行为”,是因为不观察到来和去的行为。之所以说“不观察恐吓”,是因为没有损害。之所以说“不观察我执”,是因为没有见解之自性和我慢之自性的我执。所谓“以何施设名言,以何宣说,以何显示”,是说者的法。所谓“以何了知,以何见”,是听者的法。所谓“以何施设名言”,是指圣者和非圣者以见、闻、辨别和了别的能力,以及不见、不闻、不辨别和不了别的能力,以十六种名言的力量来宣说。 所谓“以何宣说”,是指以宣说瓶子、毛毯、牛、马等名称的力量来宣说。所谓“以何显示”,是指以显示长短、白色、绿色、蓝色、黄色等功德的力量来宣说。听者也以随顺清净的力量来随顺了知意义,所谓“以何了知”,是指以随顺比量的力量来宣说。所谓“以何见”,是指以现量见到意义的力量来宣说。所谓“对于任何声音也不会执著”,是指对于一切言说都会寻求胜义谛。所谓“以一切法平等性而能真实成就”,是指将一切声音都结合于如是性。所谓“也善于了解声音”,是指了解一切有情的声音和一切想法。

The reason for calling it "separation" is that it is separated from the afflictions of afflictions and the afflictions of conceptualization. The reason for saying "not observing the result" is that the aspect of the result is not observed in the dharmas of the result. The reason for saying "not observing the aggregates" is that there are no aggregates of affliction, karma, and fruition. The reason for saying "not observing aging" is that there is no characteristic of aging that changes from existence to another state. The reason for saying "not observing behavior" is that the behavior of coming and going is not observed. The reason for saying "not observing intimidation" is that there is no harm. The reason for saying "not observing self-grasping" is that there is no self-grasping of the nature of view and the nature of pride. What is called "by what is nomenclature applied, by what is it spoken, by what is it shown" is the dharma of the speaker. What is called "by what is it understood, by what is it seen" is the dharma of the listener. What is called "by what is nomenclature applied" refers to the power of seeing, hearing, distinguishing, and knowing, and the power of not seeing, not hearing, not distinguishing, and not knowing, by the noble ones and the non-noble ones, and is spoken by the power of sixteen nomenclatures. What is called "by what is spoken" refers to speaking by the power of speaking the names of things such as pots, blankets, cows, and horses. What is called "by what is shown" refers to speaking by the power of showing qualities such as long and short, white, green, blue, and yellow. The listener also understands the meaning by the power of following purity, and what is called "by what is understood" refers to speaking by the power of following inference. What is called "by what is seen" refers to speaking by the power of seeing the meaning of direct perception. What is called "one will not be attached to any sound" means that one will seek the ultimate truth in all speech. What is called "one will truly accomplish by the equality of all dharmas" means that one will combine all sounds into suchness. What is called "also skilled in knowing sounds" means knowing the voices and all the thoughts of all sentient beings.
