Just as unborn, so is Suchness unborn. Just as the sky is not stained by dust and is free from dust, so too is Suchness free from dust. Because there is no difference in ultimate truth, it is called no difference in ultimate truth, therefore it is one. To say in the manner of not perceiving death and birth means that in Suchness, the possibility of death and the possibility of birth are not perceived, which is the meaning expressed by the possibility of not perceiving. To say in the manner of not perceiving names means that Suchness has no name that can be spoken. It is called transcending the world because Suchness transcends the world. It is called completely destroying the causes and conditions of the creeper of existence because Suchness is the nature of completely destroying the causes and conditions of the creeper of existence. It is called completely ascertaining pacification and abiding in pacification because in Suchness, there are no afflictions that can be pacified, nor are there actions of the nature of not abiding in pacification, therefore it is completely ascertained as pacification and abiding in pacification. It is called completely liberated from bondage because it is liberated from the three bondages of desire, hatred, and ignorance. It is called being free from the turbidity of blood because it is free from the turbidity and distraction of blood caused by afflictions, actions, and maturation. It is called not perceiving attachment because there is no attachment of the obscuration of afflictions, the attachment of the obscuration of actions, and the attachment of the obscuration of maturation. It is called the sound of the path of speech being completely cut off because the sounds of the nature of linguistic expressions are completely cut off. It is called not moving from Suchness because it does not move from its own nature of Suchness. It is called unborn as it is because it is unborn as it should be. It is called not perceiving pride because there is no near affliction called pride, or pride arising from the conceptual thoughts of afflictions.
