Relying on this, regarding the vast mind of other beings and individuals, knowing it as it truly is, that it is a vast mind, up to... This is to show the knowledge of the conduct of the minds of sentient beings in the form realm. The minds of sentient beings in the form realm cultivate meditation and samadhi, and are free from desire in the desire realm, therefore they are called vast. These minds, in ultimate truth, have no substance, therefore there is no coming, going, birth, cessation, abiding, and change from abiding. Knowing this as it truly is, is called knowing as it truly is. Subhuti, furthermore, the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One, relying on this Prajnaparamita, regarding the immeasurable mind of other beings and individuals, knowing it as it truly is, that it is an immeasurable mind, up to... Subhuti, thus, the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One, relying on this Prajnaparamita, regarding the immeasurable mind of other beings and individuals, knowing it as it truly is, that it is an immeasurable mind, up to... This is to show the knowledge of the conduct of the minds of sentient beings in the formless realm. The formless sentient beings abide in samadhi such as the sphere of infinite space, do not rely on objects such as form, and the object of focus is immeasurable, therefore it is called immeasurable. These minds, in ultimate truth, have no substance, therefore they do not abide even in the sphere of infinite space, so they do not truly see abiding. They do not abide in the sphere of infinite consciousness, so they do not truly see abiding. They do not abide in the sphere of nothingness, so they do not truly see complete abiding. They do not abide in the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception, so they do not truly see near abiding. Thus, the mind has no substance, therefore the continuum of mind has no basis and is immeasurable.

Now, having fully understood, it is called completely knowing as it is. Subhuti, furthermore, the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One, relying on this Prajnaparamita, regarding the minds of other sentient beings and individuals that are not demonstrable, it is called mind that is not demonstrable, completely knowing as it is. Subhuti, thus, the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One, relying on this profound Prajnaparamita, regarding the minds of other sentient beings and individuals that are not demonstrable, it is called mind that is not demonstrable, completely knowing as it is, up to this point, it is showing the knowledge of the activity of the mind that takes the non-demonstrable object as its object. The senses such as the eye, and things such as mind and mental factors, the mind that takes the non-demonstrable object as its object is called mind that is not demonstrable, and that mind is also without substance in ultimate truth, therefore, because it is empty of its own characteristics, seeing it as without characteristics is called completely knowing as it is. Subhuti, furthermore, the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One, relying on this profound Prajnaparamita, regarding the minds of other sentient beings and individuals that are invisible, it is called invisible mind, completely knowing as it is, up to this point, Subhuti, thus, the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One, relying on this profound Prajnaparamita, regarding the minds of other sentient beings and individuals that are invisible, it is called invisible mind, completely knowing as it is, up to this point, it is showing the knowledge of the activity of the minds of sentient beings that are invisible to each other. In ultimate truth, those minds are without substance, and even the five eyes of the Tathagata cannot see them, knowing this is called completely knowing as it is. The five eyes of the Tathagata have already been explained above. Subhuti, furthermore, the Tathagata,

Furthermore, the Bhagavan, the Arhat, the Perfectly Enlightened One, relying on this profound Prajñāpāramitā, knows the minds of other sentient beings and individuals, their scattering, holding, spreading, and gathering, as they truly are. Such as these are the heretics with wrong views, who grasp the five aggregates as self, and have the mental conduct of permanence, annihilation, addition, and subtraction. Knowing the mind's scattering means the mind that grasps self and the world as permanent. The mind's holding means the mind that grasps annihilation. The mind's spreading means the mind of addition. The mind's gathering means the mind of subtraction. Subhuti, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Enlightened One, regarding other sentient beings and individuals, their minds scattering, holding, spreading, and gathering, all that arises depends on form, depends on feeling, depends on perception, depends on formation, depends on consciousness. Thus, truly knowing the minds of other sentient beings and individuals, are the heretics who grasp permanence, annihilation, addition, and subtraction, grasping the five aggregates as self, and viewing permanence, annihilation, and so on. However, in reality, there are only the five aggregates, and there is no such thing as self, which the Tathagata truly knows. Thus it is declared. Furthermore, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Enlightened One, knows the scattering, holding, spreading, and gathering of the minds of other sentient beings and individuals in this way, which are the mental conduct of heretics viewing permanence, annihilation, addition, and subtraction, scattering, holding, spreading, and gathering, which is the meaning previously stated, explained separately and in detail. Saying that self and the world are impermanent, only this is true, and the rest is meaningless, is abiding in form. That is abiding in feeling. That is abiding in perception.
