If one is completely embraced by the Prajñāpāramitā and skillful means, etc., one will not fall into the state of Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas, and one will manifestly and completely awaken to the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. This is what is being taught. Then, Subhūti, how is it that a being of the Bodhisattva vehicle is embraced by skillful means? And so on. This means that when a Bodhisattva who possesses skillful means practices the six perfections, etc., they practice with the purity of the three spheres and without arrogance. They will not fall into the state of Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas, and they will accomplish the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. This is a detailed explanation of the meaning explained above in a different way. Subhūti, in this case, a being of the Bodhisattva vehicle first completely gives with skillful means, from "I am endowed with wisdom" to not being arrogant. This shows that a Bodhisattva who possesses skillful means practices the six perfections with the purity of the three spheres and does not become arrogant because of them. Why is that? Because they do not conceptualize in this way, so there are no such conceptualizations in the perfection of giving. Why is that? Because it is like this: the perfection of giving does not exist, up to the perfection of wisdom, that perfection does not exist. This shows the reason for practicing with the purity of the three spheres and not being arrogant. When Bodhisattvas practice giving, etc., there are no such conceptualizations, and the six perfections are also without substance in the ultimate sense, so they are not objects of conceptualization. Therefore, it is taught that the three spheres are pure and there is no arrogance. Even so, the being of the Bodhisattva vehicle knows that they have gone far and knows others, but they are not arrogant because of that. This is because all dharmas are empty by nature, so there is neither conceptualization nor what is to be conceptualized. Having transcended the object of conceptualization, even if one knows that one has gone far, one does not become conceited about what is known. This is what is being taught. That giving of

From "being completely grasped by the perfection" and so on, to "being completely grasped by the all-knowingness itself, one does not fall into the ground of the Hearer or the Solitary Buddha, but arises in the all-knowingness itself," this shows the benefit of attaining the all-knowingness itself by not falling into the ground of the Hearer and the Solitary Buddha because one possesses the meaning of the completely purified Dharma, such as the six perfections, and is without arrogance, as explained above, with the three circles completely purified. The thirty-sixth chapter of the Extensive Explanation of the Hundred Thousand Perfection of Wisdom is complete. Thirty-seventh, the chapter on Essence. From "Then, the venerable Subhuti said to the Blessed One" and so on, as before, if one does not possess the Perfection of Wisdom and skillful means, one will fall into the ground of the Hearer and the Solitary Buddha, but if one possesses the Perfection of Wisdom and skillful means, one will not fall into the ground of the Hearer and the Solitary Buddha. Having heard this, one wonders, "Then how should those who are newly entering the Great Vehicle and do not possess wisdom and means train in the six perfections?" Therefore, they asked. From "The Blessed One spoke" and so on, to "Those who teach the perfection of giving should be attended to, relied upon, and revered," this shows that beginners should attend to, rely upon, and revere the wise who teach the six perfections, and if they learn in this way, they will become skillful in means and will not fall into the ground of the Hearer and the Solitary Buddha, and will attain the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. From "Those who teach the Perfection of Wisdom in this way" and so on, this shows how those virtuous friends teach and explain the six perfections. From "O son of a noble family, whatever giving you give, dedicate it all to the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment" to "O son of a noble family, whatever wisdom you cultivate, dedicate it all to the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment,"
