Those Bodhisattvas who have truly entered into Bodhi, having become vessels of the sacred Dharma, and to those who possess good fortune, extensively explaining this Prajñāpāramitā and causing them to practice it, it is shown that their merit increases even more than before. Kauśika! Furthermore, as many sentient beings as there are in Jambudvipa, all becoming irreversible from unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, and even this is said to arise from samsara, because it is tormented by great compassion. In between, all sentient beings in Jambudvipa become irreversible from unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, as well as the world of the four continents, the thousandfold world, the two-thousandfold world, the three-thousand great thousandfold world, and each of the ten directions, worlds as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, all sentient beings becoming Bodhisattvas irreversible from unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, with the merit of teaching the Dharma, among them, if there is one who claims, "I will quickly attain unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment," then extensively explaining this Prajñāpāramitā, which is endowed with meaning and words, and causing them to practice it, it is shown that their merit increases even more than before. Why is that? Because those irreversible Bodhisattvas are definitely inclined towards perfect enlightenment, and because they do not turn back from unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Therefore, for them, there is no need to teach the Dharma at the beginning, this is said to arise from samsara, because it is tormented by great compassion, referring to other Bodhisattvas who abide on the irreversible ground, having already made up their minds about unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, so even if this Prajñāpāramitā is not explained to them, they will not turn back. However, among those Bodhisattvas, some quickly attain unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment and in samsara

Those who wish to be liberated from the border areas and are unwilling to practice the great compassion of the Bodhisattva, if this Prajnaparamita is widely taught to them and they are made to practice it, it is shown that the merit will increase much more than before. Then the Lord of the Gods, Indra, said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, how, how does a Bodhisattva Mahasattva approach unexcelled, perfect and complete enlightenment, so, so should a Bodhisattva Mahasattva be instructed and shown in the perfection of giving, from then on, for those sons and daughters of good family who are taken care of by gathering with Dharma and gathering with wealth, their merit will increase greatly, and not like the previous sons or daughters of good family. Until here, for those Bodhisattvas who dwell on the irreversible ground and so on, who are close to unexcelled enlightenment, instructing and showing the perfection of giving and so on, up to the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha, if they are benefited by the giving of Dharma, and helped by the giving of wealth such as clothes and alms, then the merit gained by giving Dharma and wealth to special vessels is also shown to increase much more than before. What is the reason for that? Blessed One, it will become like this, whichever Bodhisattva Mahasattva, from instructing and showing the perfection of giving, up to instructing and showing the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha, for those who are close to unexcelled, perfect and complete enlightenment, benefiting them with the giving of Dharma and wealth, shows the reasonable reason. Then, the venerable Subhuti said to the Lord of the Gods, Indra, from then on, the Hearer Vehicle will appear in the world, the Solitary Buddha Vehicle will appear in the world, the Great Vehicle will appear in the world, until here, it is what Indra said before.

Concerning those Bodhisattvas who are close to unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, it explains the reason for benefiting them with Dharma and material things, which is the teaching of rejoicing by Subhuti. If there are such Bodhisattvas, then noble Hearers will also arise. If there are no such Bodhisattvas and no mind is generated for unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, then Bodhisattva Mahasattvas will not study the eighteen unshared Buddha Dharmas, including the perfection of generosity, until the end, and will not realize unsurpassed perfect enlightenment. If enlightenment is not realized in this way and Buddhahood is not attained, then Hearers and Solitary Buddhas will also not exist, which is a statement of the faults. If Bodhisattvas study the eighteen unshared Buddha Dharmas, including the perfection of generosity, until the end, then they will realize unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, and by its virtue, the evil destinies will be cut off, and the higher realms of gods and humans will arise in the world, and the eighteen unshared Buddha Dharmas, including the perfection of generosity, and the three vehicles will arise in the world, which is a statement of the benefits followed by the teaching of rejoicing. The twenty-fourth chapter, the chapter on Indra, from the Extensive Explanation of the Hundred Thousand Prajnaparamita. Chapter Twenty-five: Rejoicing and Dedication. Then, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Maitreya said to Subhuti, from "The Bodhisattva is for the purpose of taming and pacifying all sentient beings, and for completely liberating them from suffering," until "Sharing the object of merit of rejoicing with all sentient beings, and dedicating it to unsurpassed perfect enlightenment in a non-attached manner," this is the merit of rejoicing of ordinary sentient beings, and the merit of giving done by the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas.
